“I bought one of these a few months ago and love the product. I use it a lot and have never had any issues. I bought my daughter one for Christmas and the first time she heated it in the microwave the blue bag caught fire in one corner and the beads melted. She put it in for 2:00 Min. on a revolving turntable. Turned around and at the 1.5-minute mark, she saw smoke and smelled something burning. The item is ruined and the microwave smells like smoke and fire. She is very disappointed. I wish I read the reviews first because I see other people have had the same issue. Very hesitant to use mine again.”
“Love the shape! I have neck issues and this is amazing to have something that sits right where you need it. Gets nice and hot. Heat only lasts about 20-30 mins, but shouldn't have it on much longer than that anyway. It gets nice and cold in the freezer too, but takes longer and I personally didn't like it cold. The scent is very strong, not a bad scent but strong and it sticks with you even after removing the wrap. And the scent only releases with heat. Overall this is a great product.”
“The scent was so strong it gave me a splitting headache! My own fault for missing the part of herbs for aroma therapy and that they would be so intensely strong! Love the design of the heat pk but wish it came without the herbs! Being allergic to a lot of things, having asthma and hypersensitive to smells, this was not a keeper. Gave it to a friend with a warning about the smell.”
“Only lasted for less than 10 heating in the microwave (under 2 minutes). Whatever this was filled with burned through the fabric and flowed out of the pouch. I'd recommend it for cold use but definitely not for heated. Live & Learn, buyer beware.”
“This product looks great and the material is soft and easy to the touch. It is in fact weighted as advertised. However, some criticisms I have for this product are as follows:1. Not as cold as expectedEven when I put the product in the freezer for the whole day, it was still not cold enough to provide effective relief for the affected areas.2. Beads move around too muchThere is not stitching or sectioned areas that keep the beads in place, but I guess this is nice for some people as it allows more beaded weight on whichever area of their preference.Overall, the product did not meet my standards but I see its potential.”
“It started out great but after 2 weeks, it no longer keeps any heat. We heat it up but it cools down within 10-15 minutes. We heat it at the 3 minute max.”
