“I don't like that you have to freeze the item to use the cold, and microwave to use the heat. It's kind of heavy and the heat doesn't last very long. It's ok, just not what I thought it would be.”
“Nice product. Only problem is make sure you spread the beads inside evenly, they move around so sometimes there's a portion that's flat, or has none in it.”
“I love the softness of this. It is mildly weighted, which can be a plus, but not always comfy, depending on what hurts. I love piece that designed to come up around my neck itself. When I want heat on my neck, it's thinner, and doesn't stay too hot (a plus for the neck), and when I want cold on my neck, I can tuck a narrow ice pack between the collar and my neck, still leaving the shoulders very warm, which is the most helpful thing, as it softens those tight shoulder muscles pull on my neck, which icing the arthritic area of the neck itself.”
“So far its been great. I heat it in the bag, on a plate, at full power in my 1200 watt microwave for 1:30, turning it over halfway through. Havent had any issues with burning. It only stays warm 10-15 minutes but that combined with the weighted feature are enough to relax and dissipate tension in my neck and shoulders. If you need more intense heat or longer lasting then a plug in pad would be better, but for daily muscle tension this is nice relief.”
“Overall I'd say that the Neck Wrap works well and is a help to relieve aches and pain in the neck and shoulders. I probably should have gotten the 5 pound but didn't... The only negative thing I'd say about it is that there seems to be not enough "beans" to fill it out leaving areas where there is no weighted pressure with all of the "beans" sagging to the bottom. I heated it up in the microwave as directed and with no problem for the first several times... but giving it the limit proved to be a problem because I managed to "over-heat" it and it burned a hole in the bag and in the wrap itself dropping "hot burnt stinky beans" inside the microwave and on the floor as I pulled it out... my wife sewed it up and it's still working but I do shorter times of heating (35 seconds) turning it each time until it's warm enough.”
“This is a pretty good neck relief wrap. It took longer to micro wave than they suggest to become hot enough to give me relief. Its not something I would use without it being heated! I like it and its good to use at the end of the day! The wrap has a pretty good smell after you heat it. It does help to relax and calm me after dealing with neck pain all day.”
“The concept is good but the portion that surrounds your neck doesnt make contact. Theres not enough form to it to keep it in contact with the skin of your neck. It just feels like a bulky popped shirt collar.”
