“I really wanted to like this mask. I have other forms of light therapy devices and they all have pros and cons. I have the more expensive hockey Mask style which is a bit heavier. I had hoped this lighter weight version would be a good alternative, but the wrap around style arms of the frame are a bit too rigid and tight over each ear. This causes the nose rest piece to put a lot of pressure on the bridge of my nose which instantly started to create strain and ultimately a headache - which I am pretty sure defeats the purpose. I think I can unscrew the temple arms and sand down the plastic plates that will allow the arms to relax a bit- it could relieve the tightness. But until I can confirm that won't break anything. All I can say for now is that this likely is better suited if you are a smaller person with a narrower head. I am 5'9 150lbs and I guess my head is larger than this intended lol. I wear regular cap/hat sizes and regular glasses frames. The Mask itself is extremely lightweight, and I can confirm that the light does not impact your eyes- in fact that part is very comfortable. I just can't really recommend this based on how inflexible the design is to fit a broader temple area.”
“I was really excited to try this led mask, because it is a much lighter-weight option of led. The older masks I have are quite heavy and get uncomfortable to use. And in the beginning, it did work great, and I was happy because it was so lightweight. But in less than 2 weeks, it started doing weird things, like changing colors and flashing rather than staying in one color. (When I say that it was changing colos, I mean that if I chose one color, it would start out, say, pink. And then it would end up yellow.) There definitely seems to be some kind of wiring issue. And the gifts they include are nice, but even the masssager gift didn't work when I added a battery. So it just makes me feel like there are quality control issues here. It really is too bad, as the idea is a really good one.”
