“No matter how much pain I was in, I just couldn't bring myself to buy any of the support products. I work an office job- 10 hours a day. My pain was getting so bad I couldn't focus on work; I'd get home to make dinner and could barely stand at the stove; and when I went to bed thinking I could just sleep it off..I couldn't even lay-in any position-without being in pain. I was near tears. My significant other talked me into buying this for work. I told him I doubted it would work.I've been using this product for a couple weeks now and the difference is amazing. It by all means does not take all my pain away (I think I need some lifestyle changes for that), but it has helped me more than I ever expected it too. It's still a little awkward for me to sit on and make sure it's positioned right, but it does the job. I'm very happy with this product so far. “I go the ComfiLife brand seat cushion when my old brand was out of stock. I wasn't interested in memory foam, as it is something I generally do not like. This ComfiLife has turned me around about memory foam. This is such a comfortable and convenient cushion. I got a second one for my other chair as well as for my office chair. I can sit comfortably in my office chair for hours without my sciatica acting up. I'm a believer.”
“The cushion goes flat and I only weigh 128 lbs, so it's not very comfy. I have tailbone issues and I would say the only part of the cushion which helps me is the cut out. If you're looking for a supporting cushion this might not be for you.”
“I didn't expect to like this cushion, but it's proving to be a great help at work! I have hyper lordosis, too much curvature of my lower back, and that tends to be aggravated by sitting in a crappy desk chair for 8 hours. This cushion helps alleviate pressure on my tailbone and seat bones which makes it easier for me to sit properly. I left off the fifth star because the back portion DOES tend to separate farther than desired and, even though it has rubber grips, it does tend to travel around the chair. But overall super happy with my purchase!”
“I suffer from low back pain, and my mom suffers from sciatica. Since we've both been doing a lot of sitting around during all the COVID lockdown stuff, both of us have had our backs really start to act up. I finally did some research and found this cushion. Based on other reviews, I decided to give it a try.I am a gamer, so I sit on a hard gaming chair most of the day (even when not gaming-- it has just become my normal everyday chair). I've tried sitting on pillows and blankets to soften the stress on my low back and bottom, but nothong has given me relief for longer than maybe a few hours. The second I got this cushion in the mail, I put it on my gaming chair and sat down. Instantly, I could tell the difference!But will it stand the test of time, I asked myself. I had purchased a wedge-shaped cushion several years ago and it flattened and lost all of its support within a couple weeks, if even that. Well... as of the date I'm writing this review, I have had this cushion for about 2 weeks now, and it is still holding its shape and giving support. I sit on it pretty much all day every day, and it's holding up very well. Color me impressed!!I'm currently away for the weekend, so I asked my mom to try it out while I'm gone. She has used it on the dining room chair (hard wood), the computer chair (firm cushion), and the living room recliner (plush cushion). She says she notices relief for her sciatica in all 3 cases! Needless to say, I will be ordering another one for her now. I am so pleased with this product!! I definitely suggest giving it a try!”
“This worked great - at first. However, as I am large, it only lasted for a short time before it became crushed and no longer worked the way it did. How long? Less than 4 months. If you only need it a little, or if you are of slight build, you will certainly get longer life out of it. For me though it isn't a product I would purchase a second time.”
“This cushion does provide some relief for my chronic coccydynia but like another reviewer noted, the foam flattens out when you sit on it, so it is not very supportive. It's not as comfortable as other coccyx cushions I have tried. I wanted to try a different type of cushion material because the Contour Products coccyx cushion material is a bit firm. It's not my favorite cushion.”
