“I wasn't sure about this at first, but it does help after sitting at my desk for awhile. It doesn't work very well on my desk chair, so I'll be getting a new chair. My chair goes up at the edges which contribute to hip pain and the pillow accentuated that curve even more. But I found that it worked better on a flatter chair. I tried it on my brother's desk chair which has a flat, plastic seat, so the cushion laid more flat and didn't push up so much at the edges like mine did. I don't really know how much effect the "hole" in the back is helping, since it's supposed to be there to relieve pain by not pushing up on your tailbone, but it's better than sitting directly on the chair. It pretty much just feels like you're sitting on a memory foam pillow.”
“I didn't put 5 Stars but that doesn't mean the cushion is not good. I had severely bruised my tailbone so when I first got the cushion, because I was in a lot of pain, I didn't see the difference. However, as the days went by I started to realize the cushion was helping me. One day I forgot to bring my cushion to the car which I was driving somewhere locally. Boy did I see the difference. I was very very uncomfortable without the cushion. Now I make sure I take it everywhere I go. It has been a blessing for me.”
“Like many others I read the good and bad reviews prior to buying this product. The product is well made and definitely hard when you first get it and sit on. It does contour to your body once you've sat on it for a few minutes and I think it warms up to your body temp. It just did not feel very comfy on my chair and not comfy overall. I could only stand it for maybe 15 minutes and then had to remove it. I gave it a chance and tried it multiple times over a few days, but just could not keep using it. I contacted the seller and they were very nice. They gave me a full refund and told me to keep the product and give to someone else that might find a use for it or may enjoy it more. The product I give a one star, but give customer service a 5.”
“Because the insert that accompanies the ComfiLife seat cushion states "Memory Foam is heat responsive; in order to get the best performance, keep your cushion at room temperature at all times," I doubt that keeping it in the car is a good idea. Consider the freezing temperatures of winter or the sizzling summer temps! Certainly the comfort as an office chair support is adequate--especially for the price. And I like the softness of the fabric and the light gray color (instead of harsh black). The cover is removable and washable: "Hand wash in cold water. Do not use fabric softener, bleach or harsh chemicals. Line dry...." However, I am doubtful that the quality of the fabric/construction could sustain many washings. Considering its reasonable price tag, the seat cushion is acceptable for a home office.”
“The Cushion was for my scooter seat. You need to have cushion under it for best comfort. It is comfortable, takes a minuted for your body to warm it an it fit your tushy, once it fits it works good. It definitely helped for my tail bone and lower back pain as far as sitting for awhile. Works great in the car for sure made easier to sit for longer distances than I could before... So it good to have cush under for long sitting,. And its firm when you first sit but it conforms an feels better once on for a few minutes so be patient..”
“The cushion is nice. My 325lb 84yr old Daddy uses It on a stool when he eats breakfast in the kitchen. It works he can't sit on anything for long but it helps him be more comfortable. And I thank you for your help”
