“The chair I use to sit at my computer is a poorly made, cheap Chinese piece of junk. The chair does not provide enough padding in the area where I sit, so I decided to purchase this cushion to improve the comfort of the chair. While this cushion has made the chair more bearable, I am anything but happy with the cushion.The primary problem is that the cushion never stays where it should be. Every single time I get up from the chair or even merely shift my weight around, the cushion moves so that it is no longer in the right position. The advertising for this cushion states that it is "non-slip" but that is a lie, especially when it comes to chairs made out of synthetic material. Even when I swap out my chair for a simple wooden chair, the cushion slides around with ease.I've tried to find all sorts of solutions. I've tried to fasten the cushion in place with belts, rubber bands, and towels, but nothing improves the issue. Simply put, this cushion slides around all over the chair regardless of what you do.In terms of comfort, I give this cushion gets a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. It could easily provide better cushioning and support.In terms of usability (staying where it should be), I give this cushion a rating of 1 out of 5 stars.Overall, I definitely do not recommend this cushion. It might work okay for your grandparent who doesn't need a robust, well-made product, but for the average adult or kid, this cushion is a poor product.”
“I purchased this seat for my 84-year-old father to be used on a wooden chair he sits in often to do paperwork, etc. It not only provides comfort on a wooden chair, but keeps him seated in a higher position which makes easier for him to lift himself to a standing position (similar idea to using a lift chair or aid). The quality is very good, and it doesn't slip because of the backing material. I would purchase it again if I needed another one.”
“I got this for my flat dining room chair. We do homework and studying there. I have very little cushion in my tush, so i have chair pads on the chair already, but it can still be intolerable after a while.My kids also do a lot of building projects on the floor, so again, my bottom is sore and it radiates up to my neck when sitting on it for too long.This item firm, yet gives enough for a soft surface. I never felt like i hit the bottom of the cushion. Happy to have a soft spot to sit for us flat bottomed girls.”
“I made this purchase a while ago and had not qualified. It remains firm after a couple of years I made the purchase, it gives height, but my office chair is wide and this causes me to constantly accommodate it, but as I mentioned, it only gave me height, it did not help me in my sitting posture, I which is something that I have not corrected, I admit it.”
“Nice cushion. Very comfortable. Quick service. Note: I suggest you take the cushion inside your home after use if you are using it in a vehicle and the temperature is about 55 degrees or below. It's hard a rock until your body heat goes to work unlocking the "memory" feature. That can take a long time if it is "really chilly" outside. This is common for any of these types of cushions, however, so it's not a defect by any means. I'm completely satisfied.”
“Using it for the car. After 9 years my car seat is shot so I tried this to combat pinched nerves in my neck and lower back due to driving 80 miles round trip each day. Provided you keep the seat at room temperature, it works fine once you position it on the seat, centering it as close as possible. If you leave it out in the cold, it's as hard as a rock and of course will cause more pain. It's only been a few days and I believe it is helping. This cushion coupled with physical therapy, I hope to make a recovery. My doctor told me all car seats, even high end ones are not designed properly for the lumbar spine as he sees many cases such as mine. I hope to be using this seat for a very long time.”
