“This product did not work well for me because it kept sliding and did not feel comfortableI wish this product had come with straps to secure it to the chair”
“This works super well in the right kind of seat. My desk chair is much more comfortable with it! It's fairly thick, so you will have to lower your chair. That works for me because I am short. Tall people may have issues with this. I bought it for my car. I have to lower my seat WAY down. If you are tall, this may not work. It is very comfortable once you get it in the best place for you, although getting in your car with it is a hassle. What I wish they would change, is that it does not fit well in the car seats. Getting in, with the height big pretty thick is a challenge because it moves as you first sit on it. Trying to adjust it is not easy as it has the grippers on the bottom side. The grippers keep it from moving, which is good, but they also make it very hard to adjust it in a car seat, especially once you are sitting on it. The cushion is so thick that if you are not squarely on it it will bother your legs in a car seat. I've had to pull over to aqdjust it a number of times now. The edge is so deep that it the side of my seat tapers up (as most cars do) and pushes on your legs if you don't get it exactly in the right place and the cushion is much smaller depth than a car seat so the part of your leg closest to the knee makes you hang off of it some. Having said that, it is comfortable to sit on it while driving once you get it adjusted and it molds to your body. The design for cars could be a lot better. That is why 4 and not 5 stars.SUGGESTION TO ComfiLife: Have a version for cars that has a tapered edge on the side and in the front and is deeper to fit a car seat. Or offer 2 sizes at least!”
“It is comfortable and forces you to have better posture when you sit. It's firm, but not too firm and holds is shape fairly well. Overall, good product but a little expensive for what it is.”
“It is thick and comfortable. It holds it's shape very well. It does still slide around in my chair some which means I have to adjust it when I get up and down. It's a little thicker than I expected so it makes me sit up a little higher which is okay for me.”
“My husband is a stroke survivor and spends his time in bed, a wheelchair and his recliner. Recently he developed a pressure sore, the first since his stroke in 2018. We purchased this product to take the pressure off his tailbone and the pressure sore is gone. Wonderful product for him. Mahalo Nui Loa from Hawai'i!”
“After getting this, along with the lumbar support for the back of my chair, there is no chair ever as comfortable as is with this one. I carry them to any chair in my house I am sitting on. The only downside is you can't squish it thin and carry it everywhere you go! I do also use it for sitting on my bed. It does seem hard at first, but you have to get used to it. You have to accept that your pain sucks, and it is worth adapting to a big cushion blob on your chair, to end the pain. Give it a few days to break in a bit and you will love it! BTW, I am 5'7, 120 lbs. If you are wondering if it would fit, check the width measurement of it, and you can see how wide it is. I don't know if someone who is wider than the width of the cushion could enjoy it, as your hips/thighs might hang over the edges and would feel weird. The hole in the back seems to be the secret to how this relieves pain, as there is no pressure on the tailbone area when using this. There really isn't any DIY sort of method I can imagine that would work this well. And the lumbar support is also super necessary for sitting at a desk chair! It forces you to sit up with better posture - also takes getting used to if you slouch - but come on people. You can't complain about back pain if you don't accept you need to change how you sit and invest in the "my body is getting old and now I am that person who needs a support cushion and cannot sit in weird positions like I did the first 37 years of my life" cushion. On the plus side, you don't need a fancy new desk chair, because this turns any Ikea crap chair into a super comfortable supportive high-end feeling chair.”
“My wife was having severe lower back pain that radiated down through thighs. The pain was relentless even with pain medication. We tried this cushion after determining that she bruised her tail bone and WOW, the pain and discomfort virtually vanished with the first sitting. Continued use over a short period of time made 90% of the discomfort go away and remain away. It works on chairs, sofas and car seats. Highly recommended !!!”
“soft and really comfortable, except for the smooth surface. I keep sliding off and need to readjust. But this is with a lot of chair cushioning. I never understood why they keep making the padding soft and smooth to the touch of the hand. In the end it's your butt of the pant that makes contact.”
