“This back support thing along with the seat cushion were life savers for me when I had sciatica and lower lumbar stenosis caused by a synovial cyst (L4-L5). I have these on a fairly cheep office chair and they make it feel like heaven when I had tailbone and lumbar pain. The seat cushion was sometimes a bit too firm when I had pain at the very base of my tailbone and my butt. I have a "Purple" cushion that I would switch in for the seat piece when my butt was too sore. For a while this was the only seat I could sit in without pain.I could see these potentially sticking out too far for some shallow chairs or smaller car seats to be comfortable. My office chair is quite deep compared to some.”
