“I rated this with 4 stars. I use it in the car as my new car does not have lumbar support. Although the cushion is a good size from side to side, from the front to the back it is a bit short....I always feel like I'm either falling off the back edge or falling off the front edge. I'm not huge either...so for a guy, who's overall size might be larger, they might find it uncomfortable. As for my back issues, it's hard to tell because I also use a cushion for my back, but between the two no real issue. The true test will come later when I make the 8 hour drive to my summer camp up on the Canadian border.”

“I fell from a horse 2 weeks ago. I landed on my butt and that caused a bruise on my coccyx (tailbone). I've been in pain when walking, getting up, standing, sitting, and lying down.I bought this for my car seat as it hurts so much sitting on a stiff seat. As soon as I sat on this, I was like OMG. It's quite firm but not rock-hard and most importantly my tailbone is not touching anything.Since it's about 2" thick, I'm a little taller sitting on it in the car but who cares?The item arrived on time, too. “So, I bought this to help with lower back pain when sitting at my computer for more than an hour at a time. The gaming chair I bought was supposed to be top of the line but the seat pan on this thing is like sitting on a rock. Avoid Secret Labs chairs by the way...Anyway, I got this cushion hoping it would help and it has but it isn't quite what I need. Has it helped with the pain? Yes. Does it have good support? Yes. Is it comfortable? Yes AND no. Here is the deal with this cushion. It is very well made and works very well as advertised however there are some issues. It says it has a no slip bottom, this is not entirely accurate. It moves and will NOT stay where you put it when sitting down. Once you are seated it does stay in place. I have to sit down then lift up a little and shift it around some to get it in the right position. This is annoying and the reason it got a lower mark for comfort. If you get up to get a drink or answer the door or go to the restroom you have to go through the whole dance of sit down, lift up, reposition, sit, lift reposition again until you get it into place again. As for support, if it were just a little larger it would have gotten 5 stars because it does support well once it is in place correctly.”

“I'm not the best at remembering to come back on here and leave a review but I had to come back for this item. I can't describe enough how fantastic this cushion is! I've fallen on the ice right on my tail bone a couple of times over the years because I'm clumsy and when you go to the doctor for it there isn't much they can do to help.I work in an office and sit for a majority of the day. After my recent fall last year sitting all day, even in a decent office chair was becoming very hard to deal with. I bought this cushion because it was on sale. Some of the review said it was too firm/stiff but to give it a chance. I'm sooooo glad I did because it has helped me out enormously. I tried getting a cheaper one of these at the store and it worked ok but this one is just unbelievable!!If you have that persistent tail bone pain, I don't know if there's a technical term for it, PLEASE give this one a try. I can't stress enough how much of a game changer this has been for me at work!!!! It is well worth the money to give it a shot.The only down side is that it's too thick to use in the car or I'd for sure have one there too.”
