“I bought this after hip replacement surgery after struggling with a pillow between my knees for months. This is easier to use and does't get caught-up in the top sheet. Because it is memory foam, it flattens as my knees squeeze together. I'm not sure how really effective it is. Of course, it un-compresses after removing it from between my knees......but it compresses once it's replaced. The "jury" is still out if I think it's the best solution for keeping my femurs parallel, but it's the best I've found so far.”
“I selected this pillow based on the high number or reviews with high ratings. I found a review on the web also that had rated it 8.9 out of 10. I decided to try it.I twisted my left knee weeks ago. It was very painful at times. I started exercising to strengthen the surrounding muscles because I kept twisting it after the original injury. Pillows at night were not cutting it, so I thought I'd try this pillow to separate my knee bones at night because I sleep on my side and some mornings when I woke up it was worse.Here's what worked... when I laid on my right side the left leg was still pressured by contact with this pillow, so that didn't work for me. When I laid on my left side, with the injured knee on the mattress, I used the pillow to prop up my right leg either in front or in back of the left injured knee, they never touched.Wow! That made a huge difference. One week later, it is almost totally back to normal. I continue to exercise on a bike to strengthen the muscles around the left knee.
