I recently had hip replacement and using a regular size or throw pillow under the sheets to hold my knees/thighs apart was difficult to manage; can be annoying if the pillow is bulky and won't stay in place. So I found this pillow. While I hope to only need this product temporarily, it is designed to be able to be cleaned, and seems to be made of high quality materials that will hold up for long-term use. It's a good mix of these important features plus price. Highly recommended.”

“Having a knee that needs replaced and back and hip issues I purchased for my husband so he might be able to sleep for more than an hour at a time. He slept on his side with it between his legs to begin with and it helped him to straighten his back better and took some pressure off his hip so there was less pain. He slept about 2 hours. Then he turned on his back and he was able to put the pillow under his bad knee. He wasn't awakened by his knee rolling off the pillow and slept almost 3 hours. Because of the dip in the middle the pillow was able to hold his leg on the pillow. It kept his leg from rolling around and kept the knee in a bent position. He also used it for awhile in his recliner to hold his up and in one place. This pillow is not a miracle worker, it's not going to magically take away all your pain completely especially when you suffer from chronic pain. However, it relieves quite a bit of pain caused by to much pressure in areas like back and hips and knees. He had a better nights sleep. I highly recommend it. So, does my husband. It's memory foam and it comes with a slip cover that is extremely soft.”

“I've been having pain in my hips and lower back from arthritis and tight muscles. I was using a regular pillow between my legs for support but it was clumsy and just too big. I found this type of pillow recommended on WebMD and decided to try it. After the first night sleeping with it, I felt less tightness and pain in the morning. It's great for a side sleeper and is not too big so you easily switch positions at night without having to manage a big pillow. It fits nicely around the leg with the concave sides. It is fairly hard, not soft, which was not what I expected but seems to be a good thing. So far, after one week's use, I am pleased with the purchase.”
