“I have several packs similar to this one but this is by far the best. To offer both hot and cold with a wide coverage area is fantastic. I'm waiting for them to come back in stock to buy more!! “More convenient than homemade ice pack My physical therapist suggested I use gallon plastic bag, 1 cup alcohol, 2 cups water to make ice bag. It was too small. It leaked. I added more water. It was a mess. Water on clothes, floor, furniture. I also had a regular ice bag, also a mess. I'm glad I spent the money on this because it is so much more useable. This gel ice bag is much more user friendly and therefore likely to be used the way the therapist prescribed. My therapist said use 10 minutes once an hour. Of course I'm not doing that but I do use it a lot. I often leave it on a little longer because it feels so good. I can jump up and do my chores and feel great. I got the one for the back, hip and I'm getting one for the neck. They feel great! I can tell the difference. I am positive they reduce inflammation. I like that they are designed for specific body parts. Fit great on plus size woman. Velcro straps work great. Works better than generic one size fits all ice bag. Also the one for back has additional gel pad you can heat in microwave for 40 seconds. Haven't tried that yet, but I'm sure it's good as well. (Not the hip version, read instructions). I'm very happy with them.”
