“So happy that I took a chance and ordered this heating pad massager, as I have six bulging discs in my lower back. Saw my sports medicine doctor yesterday, and neither one of us want me to have to have surgery. So I am Continuing to go the physical therapy route with a highly trained therapist, who is especially good with backs. My main problem is that my bed is not comfortable enough, even though I have built up the lumbar area of my bed with a flat book, some padding etc. under the memory foam. This is not working out because halfway through the night, my back loses support, and starts cramping up on me and aching. So, last night I slept with this heating pad massager around my waist positioned perfectly to support my lumbar. I turned it on (really like the first massage the best, and the low heat) and laid on my back in bed. I slept about six or seven hours without my back cramping up on me, so I love this little device. Before I got out of bed, I turned it back on for half an hour, which is one cycle, and my back feels like I can turn on my side and get out of bed without a lot of pain. The massager itself is firm but Padded with softness, therefore it makes a great little lumbar support for sleeping.I can see this being really good for menstrual cramps, too.You do have to keep it plugged in, but that does not bother me because I am either using it in my recliner or in the bed.Just for reference, I am female, 5'4â€Â, about 128 pounds. There is an extender included, that is also padded and very nice, if you need it. So glad I ordered, and my initial success is pretty good. :)”
