“This is awesome for ice pack use. I get really intense migraines, with pain so intense there's nothing I can do aside from lay in the dark and hope it passes. Heat pads don't really do much for me, in fact I find it makes the pain throb a little worse. But as an ice pack, this thing is amazing. It's a big enough size to cover all of my head, which is exactly what I needed. After about 30 minutes in the freezer it's nice and cold. Sometimes I like to leave it in there for upwards of 2 hours so it's frozen solid, but the pain relief is worth it especially since it softens up as the pack melts around my face and keeps me nice and cool. I haven't had any problems with it leaking, but I did notice the reviewers who did have it leak on them were microwaving it, which it says not to on the package. Overall as an ice pack I completely recommend this and will continue to use it as I need it.”
“I have only used this twice. It heats up really hot in less than two minutes in the microwave. It's awesome. The first time, the smell was quite offputting. The smell is some thing like bad fish. It's worth it if it feels good. I'm using it for the second time now, and I might just be getting used to it as I doubt the smell would be diminishing that quickly.”
