Perfect for neck, knees, mostly any part of the body. It does have a slight rice scent when heated.

I somehow hurt my shoulder and need to go to physical therapy twice a week. Before the therapy, the PT popped something in the microwave and put it on my shoulder for five minutes. It relieved the pain and make the therapy more effective. So I decided to get something similar to use at home. This seemed small to me when I opened the package, but it actually fits nicely on my shoulder and provides the warmth I need. Unlike an electric heating pad, there is no cord to tether me down and, as long as I am not overly active, the pain stays in place. It does have a nice fragrance, although I add a few drops of essential lavender oil before putting it in the microwave. The heat seems to last for 15 to 20 minutes, and the fragrance lulls me to sleep if I use it at night. It seems sturdy and well made, but I've only had it for a week.

very warm and very soft! I suggest only putting it in the microwave for 3 minutes or less! it has a soft fuzzy side that is warm when it comes out of the microwave, and cotton fabric side that is hot! very nice!

Stays warm for a long time. I keep it work for when my shoulder or back starts to feel sore or tight. The smell helps me relax and the warmth lasts a long time. Usually it over an hour before I realize I need to reheat it.

I love the essential oil smell it wasn't too strong and it helped my neck pain better than over the counter ointments.
