TRAKK Electric Heating Pad Reviews

Update: the seller reached out and offered a full refund, which I accepted. Added a star, would have preferred not to have had the hassle but glad to be refunded.Died within the first month, so TRAKK replaced it for me. Less than a year later, the replacement dies too. So frustrating because I loved everything about this heating pad, and I don't believe I should have to purchase another $40 heating pad when the seller claims a lifetime warranty. I contacted the seller, but 3 days later, nothing. I would not recommend based upon the longevity of the pad and the poor customer service.

I purchased this product for my mother who has sciatic pain and she is absolutely thrilled with this item. She has stated that she does not like a lot of heating pads because they are often too small for her to not lay properly and are not hot enough. At night which is when she experiences most pain, she puts this on and doesn't have to worry that it will overheat. My reason for purchasing a heating pad was two fold. 1. My shoulder has been injured and I needed to apply heat to relax the muscles and relieve the pain. 2. I am cold natured and wanted to be warm. This pad has helped me eliminate both issues.Being nice and warm on a cold night is heaven to me. After applying the heat to my shoulder and getting relaxed, the soothing heat pernitrates the bed and keeps me warm for several hours after I turn the heating pad off. I made sure the heating pad "automatically turns off" so I do not have to worry about being burned if I fall asleep. This heat pad does everything that is advertised and the price is right. The pad is large enough to cover my shoulder (front and back). I recommend this product 100%. The seller provided a good product and good service. It was received in record time with no hassle. Packaged well.

After my old heating pad started fraying around the cord, I decided it was time for a new one. I've had 1 heating pad for my life, it was passed down to me from my mother, so I really didn't know how to choose a heating pad. The reason I chose this one was because of the shut off feature, as well as the soft velvety material.I have been using this heating pad for over a month and I am quite happy with it. I have used it for my neck, shoulders, back and during my period. It has helped ease the various pains I was experiencing. My only 'complaint' is how easy it is to switch between heating levels. I am not taking a star off since that is a personal preference and the cord is long enough to where I can put the heat adjuster in a safe location where it won't accidently be pressed. My old one had a dial that you had to purposely switch, instead of a button that is easily pressed in, but it isn't that big of a deal to me.I would highly recommend this heating pad for someone who wants to use it for either menstrual cramps or various muscle aches that they have. It is a good size, soft and has an auto turn off feature for if you fall asleep with it, which is nice.

The first time I tried this thing, I put it on "high." It barely felt warm after an hour. I eventually turned it down to "low", out of curiosity and all of a sudden it got hot. Hot as in what would be correct for "high." It the temps were simply reversed and "low" was always "high" and vice versa this wouldn't be too obnoxious, but there really doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to when it decides to kick into full gear. You just have to keep cycling through low, medium, and high (and waiting 5 minutes in between times) to get this to the correct temperature. Some models have a timer. This one doesn't. It turns off automatically and too soon for my liking. It's comfortable and puts out good heat otherwise.

I was in constant need of a heating pad after surgery. I saw that this one cost more than others but thought it would be worth it to have a larger one. My goodness it is wonderful. Folds easily to wrap around your neck. covers both back and front of a sore shoulder. It is very soft and cozy. My husband and I both needed it on the same day so he said to order another one. For him that is amazing. I told and friend and she ordered on too. She reports it is even nicer than I told her. This is apparently a small business and needs support.I recommend this heating pad for every house and don't forget to buy a few for much appreciated gifts. People have heating pad in their home but they will fall in love with this one. Gee, I take it on vacation too.In response to the one star review it sounds as if the writer did not read the instructions. It clearly says that the high heat is for covering an ache but do not lay on hot pad. The low heat is ok for a person who is awake to lean back on but no heating pad is for putting under a sleeping person.

I don't like writing anything negative about a product but I feel it may help someone else if I warn them about how very hot the lowest temperature is on this heating pad. I have to say the cover on the pad is attractive and soft but the lowest heat is too much for me even though I have a thick shirt between my skin and the heat. I have to turn it off as soon as it gets heated or it gets much too hot fast. I don't think it's safe for anyone who may fall asleep because the automatic turn off would probably be too late. I would return it but my overly helpful husband already recycled the box. I'll write a review about him someday.

First: I've received the box just like that. No TRAKK box or anything. The product box wasn't even sealed, same for the plastic bag inside.HOW am I supposed to be safe by using this product? It's something you can apply on your skin. But I'm scared to use it like that because I've no warranty it's a BRAND NEW and NOT USED product. The product himself: the remote feels cheap, and you just have 3 level of heat. Sometimes, the medium heat is hotter than the maximum one, and sometimes it's the max one. Can't understand how this product work.Good point: soft fabric, no smell when you use it. When the maximum heat is working perfectly (not everytime..), the pain relief is fast. So, WHEN it's working I'm happy to have it...
