TRAKK Electric Heating Pad Reviews

3.7 Rating 100 Reviews
I am very, very pleased with my Mighty Bliss large heating pad. I've been using it now for about 6 weeks for chronic knee/thigh pain and also for my neck which for some reason reminds it is there there almost every day :-) The Mighty Bliss heats up quickly, it does NOT get too hot which is a solid safety feature, and it is comfortable anywhere you place it on your body. My Miniature Pinscher (which is a very small dogs that "gets under the covers" no matter the temperatures), and she has requested two of these heating pads.....one for our bed and one for her cage where she burrows in when we are not home. If you are not in need of one of these heating pads right now, consider getting one for your mom or dad or grandparents or that 'old uncle' that is aways complaining about some part of his body aching. This heating pad would make a great gift that would be used regularly and greatly appreciated by whomever receives it. And if you cannot tell by my review, I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has either occasional aches and pains that one does not want to take medications for or for those individuals who deal with chronic discomfort weekly to daily. I do not think you will be disappointed. One more thing.....look at the number of 4 and 5 star reviews on this product! 93% give it a 4 to 5 star rating...and that fact should tell you something too. That is what prompted me to purchase this product this past May, and I have been very, very happy since the day it arrived.

I really like this heating pad, it's large, covers a large area and its soft. It puts out good heat and really helps with pain and muscle tension. With my current injury I use it everyday. The only reason I rated it lower is because, A. There is a high, medium and low button, but they don't seem to be good at regulating the heat. I can have it on low and it get sooo hot for so long and burns. I can't use it until 20 minutes later when it finally seems to cool down. Other times I'm on low it will be too cool. The same thing happens with the high and medium settings. B. The button on the control pad is really easy to push accidentally when making adjustments to the heating pad. Sometimes while adjusting the heating pad, it just moves the control pad a little bit and it will turn on or off, or change the heat setting, just by even brushing up against the floor, the couch/bed or a pillow.

This heating pad is superior to all the other brands I've tried. It is soft, long and forms to your body without that feeling of hard plastic right.****Mighty Bliss - Super soft, conforms to your body, long, great temp control and even heat. You won't want to share with anyone so you end up buying one for your mom, dad, grandma and all the others you love that also know they could benefit from a safe, soft, comfortable heating pad.****Competitors that I've tried**** - Hard interior with terrible cover that is not soft and always difficult to keep the cover on the heating pads, making it tough to find a comfortable heat level. Ultimately giving to my animals to put under their blankets because I don't want to waste my money by throwing them in the trash...Overall - purchase is 100% worth it. I will definitely be a repeat buyer. I've already purchased 2 which were given to my dad and mom. Now, I will be buying one for me and my Grandma. These are great gifts and they do not look or feel cheap. Everything from the packaging to the product looks nice. I would recommend for yourself or a nice gift that people will actually appreciate and use.

I want people to know that this heating pad is excellent. I have arthritis, and having a heat pad is a must. I had a very cheap (different brand) one that was old and quit working, so I found this one from Mighty Bliss. I love the fact I could get this teal color to match my beachy bedding. Its also big enough to cover my hip area. It heats up quick, trimmer works great, buttons work great, low power use and super soft and easy to clean. I highly recommend it. I share it with my 7 month old Boston Terrier baby and he loves it, kinda claimed for himself. :) If you are looking for a good heat pad, get this one!

Great heating pad for my back pain and my spasms from MS. The heating pad is large enough to cover my entire back and/or my legs. It is very soft and flexible so you only notice the heat when using it. This pad has 3 different levels of heat and the lowest is great for the spasms and the medium through the hot is great for my back pain. The unit turns itself off after 2 hours as a safety measure, so you don't have to worry about getting burned if the heating pad is left on too long. My husband, who has a lot of arthritis also loves this heating pad so much that I had to buy him one as well, rather than argue who's turn it is to use. LOL At this time, we both highly recommend this heating pad. Hopefully it lasts as long as my old one did, which was 8 years. For the price and the quality...you can't go wrong with this large heating pad...it is as it's named...a mighty bliss when using.

I only used our old heating pad once: it was stiff, plastic, and the wrong size and shape for dealing with most muscle aches. I got this one for my wife when our old one died, and then ended up using it myself after I pulled a back muscle. This is like a whole new concept over other heating pads. The microplush fiber material feels like a soft blanket. Lying on top of it feels very comfortable. The length of it stretched from above my shoulder blades to the bottom of my back (I'm 5'10"). The cord is super long - about 10' from the pad to the plug - making it easy to reach the most convenient outlet instead of one behind the bed. The controls are large and lighted. The auto-shutoff feature meant I fell asleep feeling secure. The low heat setting was almost too low to notice. But the high heat setting was high enough to be very effective with hitting the pain without causing burns. The pad heats up quickly. I love that the cord can be detached from the pad and that the pad is washable. This heating pad really stands out from others on the market. I would buy it again and would highly recommend it to others.

I just got this product today and some people would wait to write a review. I think why we all have written something so quickly is the longevity or our pain. It warms up quickly even though the instructions provided a time frame for each level of heat. I do not know if the fabric will stay soft over time and it does seem a little thin, so I would have to come back and update this review. I do not plan on placing this in the washer, but hand washing in luke-warm water and letting it dry on a rack. There are no cold spots and if you want an idea of the actual size....I am able to cover my bottom and down my leg for heat on sciatic pain. I thought I would need super hot heat and I don't I am on the low setting. I think it is also to note some people can be taking pain meds along with this heating pad. If you have pain medication then you have something helping to take the edge off. I used this as soon as it arrived without a pain medication and it was amazing with opening up the stiffness and deep throbbing pain that I have been working on for a very long time. If you are new to heating pads or are sick of heating pads that have failed just try this one. I was inspired by the review left by the electrical engineer. I understood that review 100% and felt confident to try this. I would like to note the safety features are well made and throughout by this manufacturer. The last thing anyone wants is a burn or a fire.

We bought this heating pad to replace an older one that we had for over 10 years. We love it! It is large - 24'L x 12.5'W, the cover is soft and can be placed directly against your skin at the lowest setting, and has a long, detachable cord (10'L, with control 3' away from the pad). The controls rotate through Low, Med, High, and Off, and automatically shuts off after 2 hours. The pad itself is completely sewn shut, without direct access to inner heating component. It can be machine washed - I would recommend laying flat to dry for at least 24 hours before reconnecting. The care instructions are printed directly on the underside of the pad. We have not tested with moist heat, like placing a damp washcloth between the pad and the body. The low setting is very low, and the pad can be placed directly against the skin. The Med setting is probably closer to the Low setting than the High. The High setting gets reasonably warm, but is not as hot as our old one (that is a good thing!). I like the auto-shut off feature because we can take a nap without worry, and because the control rotates through the setting (no light when Off, a green light is displayed for Low, yellow for Med, red for High, then back to Off), you can easily verify which setting you are on. It appears to be a high quality product and we look forward to years of use!
