“This machine is a brute! I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis for the past seven months. I saw this machine being demonstrated by a woman who I think was in her 60's and thought, if she felt good about the machine, perhaps I would too. So, after two weeks using this machine I would love to say that my foot pain has disappeared. Sadly, I cannot. That stated, I am glad I purchased this machine. It absolutely hurts the inner arches of my feet when I first start using it. But, once I get past that initial pain, I find that the aches and pains of the day are released so I can relax more at night. This is one of those "it hurts so good" things times five. I love the side pressure systems on the machine. But, the rollers at the bottom are just a bit too hard. So, I put on extra thick socks to try to diminish the pain. I will plan of writing another review as I progress with this machine. Maybe it will get better? I will state that the remote control is not consistent and has to be held directly over the machine to make it work. That can be inconvenient when my sciatic nerve is flaring up. Also, I think Best Choice would do well to add a longer cord so that the user doesn't have to use an extension cord. I would not say that this machine is something I would want to give as a gift due to its nature. This is something that I would consider an individual preference because it could prove injurious to some.”
“Unfortunately, I have to return the merchandise. I have no problem with the seller keeping the shipping charge. The rest of the money was refunded promptly. The remote did not work at all when we received it. I put in a new battery & it worked but pretty tricky. You can't just point & clock, but it does work. The buttons on the unit works very well. For me, with my tender small bones feet, even at the lowest setting, it was too powerful to use comfortably. That was the reason I have to return it.”
“It hurts like hell... but in a good way. I was sore the next day but, I think it was because my feet were in shock :) day 2 after was much better. I used it for a total of 30 minutes over a few days and my feet do feel better. The remote is lagging and you have to push the button repeatedly, as well as be pretty close. overall I think it was a good buy especially for the price”
“Not a problem with the product itself and it worked fine. However, even though some of the reviews I read before purchasing mentioned how rough it was on the feet, I really didn't think it would be that bad. I had to put padding on the bottom of my feet in order to use it. Of course, this totally defeats the purpose. Good product but too rough on the feet for me.”
“Like others have noted it is pretty hard pressure so on a sore foot is a little much at first. Otherwise does it job for what it is. Will have to use it some more to give a more formal comparison.”
“This massager is very nice, well made and the massage will definitely work if you don't already have foot pain. I'm not a doctor but I think if you already have foot pain this particular type of massager, no matter the brand, is not good. It gives a good grip, pressure and massages well which brings more pain if you already have pain. I give the machine and seller definitely 5 stars. I so wanted to keep it but because of foot pain it didn't help. I suggest you give it a try if you just need a good foot massage or maybe have circulation issues. Everyone is different so things works differently with each individual.”
