“I ordered it for my chronic backache. While it works fine you cannot adjust the strength of the massage or the heat setting. For both there is only one option. I'm 5'6†and I don't think it's big enough. Also, it doesn't go all the way down to your lumbar region. It basically only massages the middle of your back. Not impressed at all.”

“It does decently work but one thing is an issue. It's very short. I use a pillow to move it up my back far enough to massage my neck. It also has zero instructions. I can only use it in demo mode. It states customizable. But I have no clue how.”

“I just really like this back massager. Especially nice is the ability to limit the massaging action to a particular spot -- very helpful for when just my lower back needs help.The massaging heads are made of hard plastic, and the little cover that comes with the unit to help moderate the intensity is quite useful. For my upper back it's still not enough though, so I add a thin blanket for extra padding between me and the massager. For my lower back, where the massage is usually needed, the intensity is just right without additional padding, just the provided flap.In general, as a chronic back pain sufferer, I could not be happier with the purchase.Since it wasn't super-clear in the product description, I'll add this note: The unit works when plugged in directly, and it also can operate some time on battery. I was a bit worried that it would need charging up before I could use it, but thankfully it didn't. Worked straight from the box.”
