“I picked these out primarily to add compression on my ankle. Of the items I had to choose from, these seemed like the best candidate because they should fit inside a pair of shoes. I learned a couple of things: While these are compression socks, there's no way to direct the compression to an affected area. Since the side of my foot just below my ankle is the source of my pain. I found that these socks offered little or not extra support in this area. Eventually I realized that I could help with this by fitting a piece of folded gauze pad inside the sock to add pressure to the affected area. This helped. My primary reason for choosing this pair was the ability to wear them comfortably inside shoes. What I quickly learned is that the socks tend to roll up when you insert your foot into the shoe, particularly once they've been work a few times. While I still have these on hand, I've since ordered a different product that far better suits my individual needs. Based upon my experience, I can't readily recommend these to anyone.”
“I'll totally admit that I have wonky ankles to begin with, especially one of them. And I've used more braces and compression devices than I care to think about.I like these because they aren't so tight that they cut off circulation, but they're tight enough to provide much needed comfort. If you're prone to little injuries, don't wait, have these on hand. Personally I like to wear them whenever I'm going to be on my feet for a long time because they do help with swelling as well.Having them infused with copper is a bonus.”
“I absolutely love these compression support braces. I had a really bad sprain when in my 20s and now that I'm in my 50s, the sprain has a bit of arthritis and can flare up when it's really cold. I wear on top and underneath my socks and tights. These have really helped the pain and swelling in my ankles, especially when used with ice packs.”
“I love them but they may run a tad small Considering I ordered the extra large and I wear a size women's 11 shoe size… I don't know how it would fit a man with size 12 or 13 feet!”
“I sprained my ankle about 8 weeks ago and have been struggling a bit to heal. My physical therapist recommended getting socks like this to help with the pain. I ordered the size based on the measurements provided on the product page and I feel like either they were WAY to small or just didn't do what they claimed. They felt like they were squeezing me so hard I could feel my heartbeat throbbing in both my injured AND healthy ankle when I put these on. They didn't offer any relief, in fact, the opposite, they made my ankle feel worse. Overall, I would pass on these....”
