“OK - I get plantar fasciitis once in a while - and have torn my achilles tendon as well - so I am very familiar with compression foot sleeves. They are definitely not all created equal. With that being said these are not great. Possibly the worst pair I have tried - especially for the price. : (First it starts off hopeful as they are very thin - like very thin - almost not even there thin - thought I would like that. And because of it they slipped right on very easily. Those are the only good things that I can say...They are MUCH shorter than any other pair I have and they end well before the ball of my foot. The band seam there is almost seamless - finished well - but because of the length it is almost like a pinching sensation sometimes on the bottom of my foot due to my foot flexing. They are MUCH too short!The top ankle band is very thick and waaaaaay too loose and large - it sort of hangs there - barely touches me.The entire sleeve does not feel very tight which some might like. The problem is that while wearing them for just an hour or so - the only pressure I felt was on the top of my foot - nowhere else - but it was uncomfortable. The worst pressure - and pain actually - was felt right where the foot bends onto the ankle on top of my foot. Upon removing them there were very deep impressions of where the cloth was bunching and pinching my feet. : (Most other sleeves - you feel the pressure all over (sometimes intense) and there is no pinching on the top or bottom of my feet. These are absolutely useless to me - and I am not even willing to give them away due to the issues I have with them. : (If you found my review helpful, why not click the "Helpful" button. “Good comfortable compression. Sizing is based on measurement of circumference around heal and ankle, so be sure to take a look at their sizing guide to help you decide. That being said, I did this and these fit great.Thinner than some, and smoother than some, and just a little shorter than my preferred brand. Good compression through, and that is most important. I likes these well enough. Copper Joe is a brand I would consider again. I wear compression socks or sleeves nearly every day for the past 10 years.”
