TRAKK Hot & Cold Compress Headache Relief Cap Reviews

4.8 Rating 86 Reviews
This really does help for headaches, but honestly I use more for my anxiety. It gets super cold and that helps a lot for if my anxiety kicks in. I use it all the time even if I'm just sitting there watching TV it helps me calm down. It did originally come with a funky plastic smell but its gone now.

Love this! I have had migraines since I was 14 years old and when my medicine doesn't want to work nothing helps. Then I saw this on TIK TOK and I was tempted to get it. My boss ended up getting it first and told me I had to try it and I am so glad I did. My migraine goes from terrible to tolerable in 5 minutes. Then when I have a tolerable one the pain is completely gone in 5 minutes. I don't like putting it on my eyes until a few minutes after its been out and on my head only because the cold bothers my eyes but that is just me. I recommend running not walking to get this product.

The cap fits comfortably and doesn't interfere with resting on on my back or side. I sometimes use it without covering my eyes. When using with my eyes covered, I not only get eye relief but complete light blocking, which is an added comfort when suffering from a migraine. I prefer to use the cap for a few minutes at a time when it first comes out of the freezer. After several minutes, I can fall asleep wearing it and wake relieved. I haven't tried it warm, but imagine it would be soothing for sinus headaches.

Relief I can withstand I suffer from seasonal allergy induced headaches, severe barometric change headaches and full-blown migraines. For the first two headache scenarios I am at a disadvantage as I cannot take OTC medications as it causes severe nausea. Ice packs and heating pads are my go-to for 12-14 hours until I can semi- function again. Ice packs are hit and miss. Gel packs are useless as it takes 6 hours to chill but 5-10 minutes and they are at room temperature. Titan lunch boxes have an "ice wall" ice pack, but there is zero "give" and that silver dollar size shot you can place on the headache spot is such an intense coldness, I cannot tolerate too long. So I spend so much time readjusting. THERAICE has been perfect for me for sinus and tension headaches.Another reviewer recommended leaving the THERAICE mask out of the freezer for 5 minutes before applying. I would agree with this recommendation. However I was able to enjoy for 20-30 minutes until it reached room temperature. But this was enough. It is like a neoprene type material and molds over my forehead, eyes and sinus area. Also, I threw it in my deep freezer for 60 minutes and then got another 15-20 minute relief. Since I am prone for bad headaches, I am going to purchase a 2nd one so I can have a rotation.Another reviewer recommended keeping it in a zip lock bag in the freezer to prevent absorbsion of odors. I used the thick plastic bag it came in and it is actually helpful for storage, easy retrieval and protect from other food/spills. 49

I thought at first this purchase was going to not work for me I went through traumatic brain injury and when the weather changes my head hurts but to my surprise it is very soothing and allows enough pressure to kind ease the pain along with Tylenol of course.

I was getting AWFUL headaches with my pregnancy! And I don't know if this really works or it's a placebo effect, but I love mine.

I honestly bought this for my puffy undereye bags, but tried it for a headache and it was very effective. I would reccomend it for headaches, but not for puffy eyes because the contour of the face is not conducive for that. You really have to press ot into the eye area to feel the cold relief under the eye, which is fine, when you have time to sit and do that, but unfortunately I don't. If your buying it for the eyes, stick to a mask designed for that. If you are a headache sufferer, I highly recommend it!
