“If you suffer from any headaches but especially migraines buy this. It's so amazing. I have a “tiny†head and this fits great. Lots of stretch so I assume it would work great for larger heads too. I keep mine in the freezer and so t have any problems with it being too cold like some other reviews mentioned. But it also stays cool left out.”
“I found the freezer to head to be a bit drastic, so I store mine in the refrigerator. It's cooling and therapeutic. The compression with the cold is a wonderful relief when the migraine comes. It blocks out light as well as cools. I love it.”
“How I normally migraine: 1-2 per month, very rarely span multiple days. Along w/pain, always include light/sound sensitivity & the appearance of flashing "lights," sometimes include nausea. I generally respond well to OTC meds dark/silent room laying down & I'm back to reasonable in an hour, back to normal in 2-3 hrs.Review: Initially, it was too cold to pull down over my eyes, but having the cold at the back/base of my skull & forehead immediately took the edge off. The frozen gel is soft, so I was able to lie down with it on & get in my normal, preferred headache-fighting position. The squeezing pressure of the hat was fantastic & once it thawed a little, I pulled it the rest of the way down over my eyes & it was absolutely perfect: pressure cold dark. My migraines have generally responded to OTC meds, BUT while I'm waiting for them to kick in, for that 45-60 mins I still feel wretched. This gave nearly immediate relief! Within 45 minutes I felt completely normal (yes, I still took OTC meds & drank a big glass of water). It was still cool when I took it off, but definitely not as cold as it started, but that worked for me.I didn't notice any chemical smell & I'm usually pretty sensitive to that. I had the hat in the freezer about 2 weeks before I needed it, so perhaps it off-gassed in there?I've already ordered another one to keep at room temp to warm up for the people in my house that get sinus issues (instructions say to not heat one up straight out of the freezer & I can't imagine ever not having this in my freezer)!”
“I felt instant relief after using this product. The only con to this product is that it has a weird smell (chemical type smell) which is a bit unsettling especially since I am sensitive to smells during a migraine as well as sensitive to smells during pregnancy.”
“Can't rate it as high as it needs I suffer from chronic migraines. To the point where light sensitivity and noise can be my worst nightmare. It has a cooling effect and you feel it immediately after putting it on. I struggle sleeping, but this mask with calm me down and I drift off asleep. I still take my medication if my migraine is real bad, but with this addition I'm better off. I've bought the double pack for friends and family. You might keep it in the fridge instead of the freezer if you're going to put it on your head. Too cold fresh out of the freezer.Love it! I'll probably give some as gifts for Christmas this year!
