“Bought this because I get frequent migraines and i was tired of trying to balance an ice pack on my head while sleeping. It work great! Did smell a little plasticky when it arrived but I let it air out and it's not noticeable anymore. I do find it can be too cold when I put it on straight out of the freezer, but if I leave it for a couple minutes it's usually fine, or I tuck a facecloth underneath. The low-level compression is great, the cold surrounding my head instead of just one area is amazing. Definitely recommend!”
“I do like this migraine cooling pack for the most part. Pros: it's pretty comfortable. But it doesn't quite hit all the spots I need to at least same time. So I do need to adjust frequently. And the cold is too cold at first but I like that I adjust to it pretty quickly. I do like that I can move it around as needed. But I do wish it would cover the top of my head since that's where I need to use it. but it's fine. I focus on the neck or just side of face. But initially if I wear it as a cap it's too cold but It doesn't stay cold as long. And it fine because I don't like it too cold. Overall I give it a 4 star. Definitely helps. I also like that it's not bulky ice packs. It's 1 squishy layer. Which I like the pressure it adds when wearing it. definitely worth it.”
“Gets SUPER cold in the freezer but stays soft and flexible. Fits my head snugly, as a fairly normal-sized woman, so if you are male or have a large head this may be too tight. Actually gets too cold for me in the freezer, but stays cold a super long time. Great for light blocking and pressure.”
“I wish I'd had this since I was a child. Head splitting pain disappears when wearing this. I want to get another so I can continuously wear one. I can't put it over my eyes, it's a little too intense of a cold, but fits great over my head and pain just disappears. Love it!!!”
“I don't get headaches often but this was truly a game changer when I got sick and have massive headaches for days in end. Popped it in the fridge for a couple hours and wore it to relieve my headache. It only stays cold 15-20 mins but I was too afraid to try and put it in the freezer thinking it would be too cold in my skin.”
“I liked the first one so much that I ordered a second one, so one will always be cold. Right out of the freezer, I place this on the back of my neck. After it's warmed up a little, I wear it the way it's meant to be worn. It's just the right amount of pressure, not too tight, but snug enough. I love that it's cold all around your head and on your eyes. You can pull it down to cover most of the back of your neck while it's on your head (I need cold on my neck, too.) You can also wear it like a hat if you don't want to cover your eyes. If my headache's not too terrible, sometimes I want to see what's going on. This is the best migraine-management tool I've found. It's comfortable and sturdy; very well made. I've had migraines for 35 years, and I highly recommend this! Does it get rid of my migraines? No, but it helps.”
“Can't sleep without it! When I purchased this I was expecting a flimsy headband with an ice pack in it but nope! This is a high quality piece! One must feel it to truly understand, words and photos don't do it justice! Just put this on last week with a raging fever and I woke up from a short nap while wearing this headpiece and felt very relieved. I actually have been sleeping with this product on every night now, it's just so darn comforting!”
“I bought this on a whim because the one day a month I get a migraine, it is horrible. I keep this in the freezer and I've only used it once, but I will use it forever. As soon as I put it on my head and felt the cold, there was almost an instantaneous relief. I did have to move it onto my hair and off of my forehead until it warmed up a little bit. Definitely user error because the directions say to let it warm up before putting it on if it is too cold. I would say within five minutes it had relieved the pain to a point where I could fall asleep and I was able to sleep for a solid two hours while wearing it. It's perfect at blocking out the light and helping the pain go away.”
