“I'm 54, female, 140lbs and am pretty active except when my right knees flare up. I've been playing a lot of pickleball and knee has been really inflamed. So I got the cold pack sleeve, in size medium. What I like about is it is easy to slide onto my knees and stays in place while I'm lying down and watching TV (vs other cold packs would would fall off when I move). What I wish was better, and other reviewers have mentioned this as well, is that it would stay cold longer. It's really cold to start but fairly quickly loses the coldness. If it could stay cold twice as long, it would be perfect.”

“This product smells overwhelmingly of ammonia. Absolutely horrible!!!!! Additionally the sizing is not great for small women. I am 115 lbs with an atheltic build and the small is too big for my elbow. The circumference 2 inches above my elbow is a little over 9 inches and according to the chart for my weight and circumference, this should fit. They really need an XS! It barely stays in place and with a few uses, I am sure it will start falling down. Overall design and feel is nice. It stays cold for about 15 min.Update: I contacted the company directly that manufactures Product and was told they should not smell this way. The recommendation was to try cleaning with a soft damp cloth. Lol. Which would've solved nothing. I returned this product to Amazon. I ordered a new one in a different color directly from the company. It arrived and it had no scent. This solved the terrible smell issue, but the sizing issue remained. It will slide down my arm And offers no compression.”
“Very comfortable and easy to use product. However, when compared to bigger traditional gel ice packs that I would put on my knees with an ace bandage, these TheraIce packs don't stay cold long enough. I like this product but the gel inserts need to be thicker to stay cold longer.”
