“A friend lent me her ice pack because I was in so much pain. The best part is that the velcro is very strong and it was easy to keep where I needed it. It worked so well that I ordered one of my own. I have an enlarged disc in the lumbar region of my back, and a lot of spasming. This took care of much of the pain.”
“I've been using this for my lower back for weeks now to deal with a pinched nerve. I keep this pad in the freezer in the same plastic bag it came it, just to keep it protected. This seems to stay very cold for ~20 minutes until it starts to loose a bit of its effectiveness. I really only ice for 15-20 mins at a time, so that works well for me. In comparison to a regular ice pack, those usually stay frozen/colder a little longer. But the biggest plus is that this ice pack is built into the belt and is very flexible to adjust around your body. The entire thing, except for the straps, get cold. It feels good to lay on it because it is a pad of soft gel.The velcro straps are very strong. So strong that I caution you not wear a nice sweater because the velcro may stick to it. This happened to me and I was able to carefully pull it off, but it was a little annoying. I like that the velcro extends so far, so this will fit most people.I really like this ice pack, and it feels like it will last me quite a while.”
“Very simple design and i like the soft silk like material of this ice gel. Works great to relief my back pain and so far i am very happy with the product. THANKS”
“It fits well around the waist, the material is nice and it's helpful to have something specifically for the back to use to ice while sitting down and working.”
“very strong new skool velcro that doesn't ruin your clothes. so happy it DOES stay cold for a long time in contrast to other reviews, and my favorite part is that it's big (long) enuf to cover all my back injuries from upper lumbar down to lower lumbar and sacral injuries! :) haven't found that in any other ice pack ever.a con is that it's pretty heavy, but def. worth it.”
