“I bought this pillow hoping it would be a direct replacement for a pillow I bought some years ago off TRAKK from the same company. Both pillows have the same, unique shape which works very well for me. My older pillow is 4 inches tall vs 5 inches for the newer version. But what I really needed to see was if the foam had stayed the same. My older pillow has foam that is soft but supportive and always immediately returns to it's proper shape even after years of use. Unfortunately, this newest version has a completely different foam. It is firm, not soft, and therefore does not cradle my head the way I need it to. I'm very disappointed because I have neck issues and wanted/needed this to be a direct replacement for my older pillow. Unfortunately, it is not.This is a decent pillow if you like firmer foam. But don't make the mistake of thinking it will cradle your head. I found it to be supportive for when I slept on my side, but too tall for when I slept on my back.”
“Tough sleeping with a torn rotator cuff so I borrowed a pillow, same make and model, just a few years older. It was great so I bought my own, but it's not even close to the quality of the old one. It looks like the old one but right out of the box it smelled horrible, I washed the cover and let it air out for a day and then I could tolerate the smell.I noticed right off the foam was not the same. Instead of the beige memory foam I expected, this foam was blue and had many voids and lumps, not the consistent texture of real memory foam. Now that I have been sleeping on it for less than two weeks the foam is already failing. Where I rest my head the foam is now much less firm than the rest of the pillow, so my head sinks in deeper, so there is more weight on my shoulder. Fifty bucks is too much for a pillow that doesn't hold up after two weeks of use.”
