“I got this for my special needs nephew whoms 9 but learning how to sit. Hit feet are a tad bit to short to reach the ground and this helps. It helps keep him stable. It's very soft as well so it doesn't hurt his feet. Definitely worth the money. Highly recommend.”
“This is a comfortable foot rest. It is not hard, it is made of memory foam. The outside of the foot rest is a very soft velour feeling material. The shade is dark blue.It comes sealed up in a plastic bag. Once opened it needs 12 hours to puff back up to be the normal size. This foot rest is adjustable, as you can remove the top layer from the bottom layer. They are connected with velcro strips. The cover/s on the foot rest are removable for washing. Do not wash the memory foam inserts.The foot rest is firm, but not hard. If you put your weight on it, for example, stand on it, your foot will sink in, like you are standing on a firm pillow. But to sit on the couch, or desk chair, and rest your feet on it, your feet will sink down possibly an inch or so. Your feet will still be very well supported.I did try to use the foot rest as a pillow and it was too firm. I then removed the bottom section of the foot rest and only used the top section as a pillow and that felt much better, but still too firm for my personal preference. It did work very well with both sections attached and placed under my knees while I slept. It was the perfect height for me.One of the drawbacks is the material is definitely a dust/hair magnet. So if you have pets, you will find the hair loves this foot rest. I roll a pet hair remover over it every day and that works just fine.I only took the top section off the bottom section maybe 5 times while trying to figure out what configuration worked best for me, and already the Velcro strips are coming off. Not too big of a deal, as I can easily reattach them. But they should be better constructed.All in all, it is a nice foot rest.”
“This product is made well and useful for under a desk, but I wanted to use it by the couch to put my feet on. Being short, I have to slouch down so my feet touch the floor. This isn't good for my back. Unfortunately, because this is made of memory foam my feet sink down into it and I still have to slouch down (although not as much). I think it would be more useful under a desk or for taller people, but I still like it.”
“My desk chair at work is too tall and my feet would somewhat dangle. I hated it and would try to wear shoes with a higher heel or platform to reach the ground. I had to keep the chair at the lowest setting and it was uncomfortable. Now that I have this item, I can adjust my chair to a higher level more aligned with my desk and monitors and I don't have to worry about what type of shoes I'm wearing to sit comfortably at my desk! It's soft and comfortable as well.”
