Each massager can be used separately. Each massager has an internal rechargeable 2000 mAh battery.My wife had ankle surgery and has suffered from leg pain ever since. In the hospital they used a leg compression apparatus on her that seemed to relieve a lot of her discomfort. But of course, we didn't have that at home. So when I saw these I had to get them for her. To see if we could give her that same relief she felt in the hospital.She said this was one of the sweetest things I have ever done. She loves the portability of them and that you can put them on and not have to worry about cords. She just straps them on and literally is snorting in about 5 minutes. She forgets all about the leg pain … at least enough to be able to sleep.She only uses the first mode and the first intensity. She says that even on that you have to be careful how snug you adjust the compression massager. Too tight and it can be a painful experience. The have an auto-off feature that kicks in after twenty minutes. It can also be used while it is charging.So to be clear, I personally do not consider these leg massagers. But they are air compressors. There are a few zones so it sometimes almost can feel like someone is kneading your legs. But there is no vibration or massage effect.I was unable to locate any warranty either in the product information or item description.I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
