The heat, the way it holds onto the pressure points and the tightness of something being around the head just takes the worst of the migraine away. “I was exited to buy this because I have occipital headache, but even though it fit well, I am more used to using actual ice cubes in a zip lock. So this was not effective for me as the chillness was not enough to numb my nerves to stop the headache so had to return it.”

“I have suffered from Chronic Migraines since I was 12 y/o and am a Registered Nurse. I currently take Ajovy, Topamax, Fioricet, Ubrelvy and Nurtec for migraines. I first bought the 1 pack headband to try it out. I specifically was looking for one that I could heat up because my migraines are from SLE with APS. These you can heat or ice. After a month of using the first one on almost a daily basis, I bought the 2-pack for back-ups. The only con I would like to mention is: if you're going to heat it up in the microwave, BE SURE YOU WRAP IT WELL IN A THIN TOWEL and only use half-power because it is plastic and it can melt.
