“So far, there is not a thing I don't like about this product. I suffer from chronic migraines and was on pills and a shot once a month. Sadly, my husband was laid off of his last job in March last year. Then at the beginning of August, he lost all benefits so we had to stop using what we could not afford which out of all my medications is the migraine pills and the shot which is Aimovig. And I suffer terribly with these headaches.So since I am a prime member here, I started to look and see if Amazon.ca had anything that might help. It turns out that they do. There are several different things to use or put on your head to help. Hubby and I looked at them and I decided that this one was the cheapest, especially with 2 for the price.I have not used them during the day unless I wake up with a headache or the beginning of a migraine. Depending on where the pain is, I put this on, usually with the material against my skin and lay down. It usually takes about an hour and then I take it off.It has not cured my migraines but it sure does help with the pain.Thank you NEWGO® for making this product. I most definitely recommend this for anyone who suffers from migraines or any kind of headache and don't have medication or can't afford it. Even if you could afford the expensive medications for headaches, I would still highly recommend these.Thank you.Cheryl”
“I get migraines a lot sometimes ones that go on for hours I've even gone to sleep with one at night and woken up 7hrs later with it still hanging on. Ice packs are the only thing that helps and I thought this would be great if it wasn't an awful one or I needed to be up and about while suffering.It does help the adjustable band holds it to your head and the fuzzy side makes it comfortable to wear straight out the freezer without a bunched up tea towel being awkward.It has these silicone beads in the gel more beads than gel actually but they make it so the thing can flex and mould to your head great in theory but when using it cold the gel is the only bit that's actually cold I've never tried it hot but I presume it works similar but maybe the beads take heat better but anyway because there's more beads than gel the pack only lasts a 30mins to 45 at best so if you get bad ones you'll need a few on rotation to keep the relief going.Also there's these points where the front and back of the pouch are fused together leaving three voids which the gel and beads move around presumably to keep its shape but annoyingly the side ones are right on my temples so I have to make it sit weird to help those points which are often my most painful.It's good to add to my collection of ice packs for migraines but it's definitely not perfect I'm keeping it mostly for it being wearable when I have to be up and about”
“My son used for a month and it seemed fine until we found that the transparent beads leaked in the middle. It was a bit disappointing to find out it leaked.”
“Only got a couple of uses out the headbands before the seams bust open along the edges. The gel beads were falling out and I had to throw away not just one, but both of them. They both burst in the freezer. Not happy. I would not recommend this item.”
