“I do suffer from a nasty migraine, 5 in 3 weeks. I take my Naratriptan but still feel like my head is stuck inside the oven. The Ice pack covers a good area and yes the fluffy side is comfy but not cold enough and the bead side is too cold. I'm grateful of any relief tbh.”
“Super great deal for two. It's pretty awesome that I can just strap on my head like a head band and it does what it's supposed to do. The band is really comfy even though My head and face hurts. I only use for freezer, I'm a huge migraine sufferer so all I want is ice cold anything. I've also used on my eyes and fit perfectly. Felt so amazing. Puffy eyes begone. But it was just nice to relax too. One downside is These guys don't freeze rock solid or anything like that and they do melt to room temps for about 15 min maybe 20 max after each use. Thank goodness for the 2nd one, I just swap out and continue to rotate until needed. The sealed, reusable, freezer bag this package comes with is the best!!!! “This is a well-designed headband, but it's disappointing in terms of the cold-level. The beads inside freeze solid, rather than staying soft and flexible. At the same time, they also don't feel cold enough, even right out of the freezer.The ice-pack thaws and is no longer cold after about 30 minutes, which is way faster than a standard ice-pack. I think the head band would work better overall if it did not use beads but a gel.”
“I've had chronic migraine for over 30 years now. I've tried many, many different ice/cold packs and devices. This is my go-to - the one I reach for first and most often. The band is very stretchy so you can get that "just right" fit without any uncomfortable pressure, which is important when your head already feels like it's exploding in pain. The soft side of the gel pack also is really nice so there's no added migraine discomfort. And best of all, it stays really cold for a good 20 minutes or more (put it in the very back of your freezer which is the coldest part of your freezer). Get the 2 pack so you can always have one cold and swap them out as the chill wears off of the first one. Great price too. You really get your bang for your buck. I've had mine for several years now and it still looks brand new. And I use it nearly every. single. day.”
