“I have always used ice packs for headaches/migraines but have struggled with getting the right position where the ice pack stays on the right part of my forehead. These have been so helpful in alleviating that problem. They do warm up relatively quickly, but that's where the two pack comes in handy. They also re-freeze relatively quickly so I'm not stuck without any ice packs ready when I need them.”
“Having owned this product for a couple of years now I can certainly say that it could be better. Firstly I should say that I've never used it heated from the microwave. Only ever cold from the freezer!The plus points are that it's extremely easy to put it in the freezer for two hours to use cold. The elasticated velcro strap holds it in place around the forehead well. Also the plush side is comfortable to wear on the head.Unfortunately what really let's it down for me is that it just doesn't stay cold for very long at all. I'd say it's cold barely five minutes on the forehead. Plus if you want a proper cooling effect you have to wear it plastic side on forehead. This does make it less comfortable. I have even gone as far as to leave it in the freezer all night long. This really makes no difference as to how long it stays cold. I've no idea what the clear liquid is in it or the hundreds of tiny gel balls. It just doesn't stay cold. Perhaps if it wasn't duel purpose for hot and cold use it could be made from a material that better stays cold? So it's a bit expensive for an item that doesn't fulfill its purpose sadly.”
