“This seemed great in theory at a decent price point. However, after using 3 times, the casing broke in 2 places so the little balls inside spilled out. I put it in the freezer to ice my sprained ankle and it was great. But the third night I had it on, my ankle felt wet and when I checked it out the product had torn. When I looked at it the next day, thinking I could patch it I saw it torn in two places and knew it would not be worth it. Nice concept, extremely poor quality.”
“Really pretty and comfortable ice wrap. At first I was concerned that it would not solidify and offer long enough cooling effect. But it was normal. Took the beads about 30 min to reach room temperature.”
“Chills quickly and easy to use, conforms to joint. Only four stars because developed a hole and the beads started coming out after only a few uses. Also, while it starts out cold enough, it quickly becomes warm compared to an ice filled pack.”
“I was planning on wrapping this around my head for when the migraines strike, it wasn't stretchy enough for that but it works well for my husband's ankle when it's aggravated. One side is covered in a soft fabric, the other side is the ice pack plastic side. It stays cold for quite a while and is very useful.”
“My favorite part of this ice/hot pack is the strap. It holds the pack taughtly to the body and keeps it in place. I also really like the furry side. It lets you put the pack directly onto the skin without a T-shirt or towel for skin protection. The size is ideal for my wife's wrist, but on a full size man ankle, it will only treat part way around. This is going to stay chilled in my freezer as we always soon to have need of ice packs. I love that this one is reusable.”
“These are absolutely perfect for my Achilles tendinitis. I loved them at first, but then it started taking longer and longer to get them fully frozen. Because of this, they don't last very long. I'm at the point now after a couple months, it takes a day and a half to two days to get them fully frozen. Not sure what happened.”
