TRAKK Barrel Roller Reviews

4.5 Rating 248 Reviews
After researching several units, I chose the Vulken. Thus far, I am absolutely pleased with it. Using the Vulken in combination with a traditional roller is making significant improvements in my mobility, flexibility and returning strength at my full range of motion. My full spine has taken a beating over the years. Sports, horse-back riding, building, etc., have adversly affected the common L4&5 and S1, all suffering herniations, degeneration - combined with stenosis. While the Vulken cant heal this, it is making a positive difference. To off-set any pressure discomfort (& it's not much) I switched to wearing sweats. This creates a softer contact and the results in my opinion, are better. My muscles have loosened considerably. Quiting excercise is not an option for me and I refuse to give up, even on the worse days. Using the Vulken will be part of my regular arsenal in staying active. The 4 star rating is based on just 2 weeks use.

I've always been a heavy advocate of mobility work and prepping the tissue for performance and recovery. I've been used to the typical carbon fiber foam rollers but the Vulken adds an element of vibration that really helps loosen my tissue and joints. I really enjoy the 4 variations of speed that may be maneuvered around your tolerance. The only tricky thing was finding a surface to use this on without making too much noise. I found it pretty effective to use on the carpet at home but would probably not bring this into the gym to avoid too much attention. The material is pretty sturdy so I would recommend this for the more intermediate individual. However, if it is too firm one can wrap clothing around the device to make it softer.

Update: Got my replacement and has been working fine.I've been using it for a week now and can honestly say I love it but mine is defective. Sometimes it refuses to turn back on after it turns it self off. It turns itself off every ten minutes, this part is a feature, not turning back on is the defect.I also have a "next roller" which I also love and these two battle it out for favorite (my awesome RumbleRoller doesn't vibrate). This Vulken is solid, vibration is excellent and most importantly for me is the length 17". The negatives are the run time has been 1 hour max, tested several times the next roller last 2 hours and the previously mentioned defect of not turning back on after a self stop. It will suddenly start some minutes later.Hopefully I will get a replacement soon and will update this review - so technically its a 1 star because of the defect and 5 star because I know what this thing can do. Looking forward to replacing mine and posting a 5 star review

In all my purchases online (good and bad) and especially with TRAKK.com, I have never written a review...until now. I received my Vulken on Dec 6 and could hardly wait to get it charged to use. I was introduced to the vibrating roller the previous week while rehabbing at Physical Therapy following knee surgery. I couldn't believe the improvement I felt in my muscles following this treatment...I had to get one of these for home use. In the 3 weeks since I have owned this product, I have introduced it to at least 8 friends and family members and most have stated that they are definitely ordering one and I have watched as a couple of them have pulled their phones out, pulled up the TRAKK app and ordered it right away! I have purchased 3 more for gifts for family, including one for my trainer at the gym! This product is not just for gym rats or professional Physical Therapists. All can take advantage of the Vulken roller and find great benefit into our 50's, 60's and beyond. Love this product!

We recently purchased the Vulken 4 Speed High Intensity Foam Roller and have been extremely happy with our purchase! I was looking for something that could help bring some healing to my lower back tightness, and the Vulken is the way to go! I have used it at various times- morning or night time, or after work outs, and the variable speeds are great for helping me keep my back and shoulders loose and feeling well. I am familiar with the Hyperice Vyper unit and was concerned that the Vulken would not be as competitive, however I am very happy with having the Vulken instead as the speeds are good for an intense vibration as well as going gentler too if needed- where as the Hyperice to me is good at just giving you the full blast. As a middle-aged athlete concerned with keeping my muscles limber and recovering from workouts (or just sitting at a desk), as well the nice price point compared to the Vyperice- the Vulken is definitely the way to go!

We REALLY like this products quality. The different settings/power are well thought out. My husband and use the setting that alternates between speeds as it gives the fascia time to acclimate and then its warmed up ready to release on a deeper level. I believe this tool is helping to rehydrate my body in places that have been literally glued shut.
