I have major knots, so I'm always looking for the next great thing to help give me relief from the tight muscles and everything that comes along with them. This massage ball has been a great tool. The only downside is the power button is always getting depressed and either changing settings or turning off all together.”
“The Acusphere exceeded my expectations. I saw a few reviews about battery life being poor however i haven't had this problem, and its charge has lasted several uses over two weeks for me so must be individual product differences. My main area of use for the acusphere is my lats and rhomboids. I feel like this product relived tightness and pain quicker than my foam roller.”
“Great product for spot massages.I have found it to be very helpful for my back pain. I have found it particularly helpful for pain between the shoulder blades. I put it in a pillowcase so I can position it easily. I like the timer feature so that I'm not using too much in one spot at at time.”
“I had 3 of these balls which I loveMost effective device on the marketHad some trouble with longevity but seller fixed the problemI plan on buying several more for Xmas presents”
“The construction is solid and feels quality. The vibration settings are nice, even though I only use the top intensity. This appears to be a well made/designed product, BUT they put a giant button that is slightly flatter than the rest of the sphere. So, while you're rolling you're bound to press the button with your body, and either change the settings or shut it off entirely. Also the because it is slightly flatter where the button is, sometimes it will stop rolling altogether, and instead slide. It's like they didn't even use the product before mass production. Idk, maybe I was expecting too much”
“It's functional and gets the job done as far as muscle relief, but it's difficult to use. There are some design flaws that need to be addressed. While using, the button keeps getting depressed, so it either turns it off, changes its mode, or the whole ball slides. All which is very annoying and loses the rhythm of the work out. They need to have a hatch, flap or have two halves which one side screws on to the other, so there is no interruption when working out.”
“I've been in searching for a vibrating ball to add to my recovery toolbox. This particular brand had some good reviews so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's smaller than the Hyperice Hypersphere and not as powerful (it's also 1/3 the price), but it does a good job. It has one button (with a flaw that I will get to in a bit) which turns the vibration on and changes the strength of the vibration. Here's the breakdown:- Press once and it turns on the the lowest setting.- The second setting is slightly more powerful- The third setting causes the ball to undulate between the lowest and highest setting.- The fourth setting is the most powerful (my favorite)- Pressing it a fifth time will shut the power offMy only gripe with this ball is that it keeps turning off when I roll over the power button. For example, it will shut off if I was rolling my calf and the button comes in contact with the carpet. The sponginess of the carpet and the pressure from you body is enough to push the button. Since I like to use it on the fourth setting, pushing the button again will turn it off. This makes it pretty annoying. The only solution I have is to set it to the power you want and then tape a quarter over the button. It's not ideal, but it will stop the accidental pressing of the button. Of course, you will not run into this problem if you're using it on a gym floor or hardwood.I will still recommend the Vulken massage ball since the pros (durability, functionality, cost) outweighs the cons (less power than hyperice's version, using it on carpet)”
“The concept is neat. I think I might just need to mess around with it more. I don't think I particularly like it if I'm just holding it stationary. I think I like it better when I'm using it as a roller, like on my leg on the ground. The vibrations seemed a little weak to me. I do own a TRAKK, which is pretty intense. So it could be that I'm just used to that intensity.”
