“This is my second vibrating plate. My first would talk to me in an Asian voice telling me my Bluetooth device is ready. I'm, not a fan of that but this plate is quiet and gets right to it.My wife say”
“When I was a teenager (about 35 years ago), I worked at a toning table salon called Beautiful Body. One table, in particular, was a simple vibration table. I couldn't see how it would do anything, and I didn't have the internet to do research back then. The company didn't stay in business very long, so I assumed it was just a trendy thing that was eventually deemed worthless.I just recently discovered vibration plates, which reminded me of those exercise beds from my past. I got online to read about the potential benefits of vibration and found that they are supposed to be good for: weight loss, fat burning, improving flexibility, enhancing blood flow, reducing muscle soreness, reducing cellulite building strength and decreasing cortisol, etc. So, I thought I'd give it a try.First off, it feels weird! You can adjust the impact based on speed of vibration, but also where you put your feet and what position you are in. For instance, if you bend your knees, the vibration is strong in the legs/knees, but doesn't wiggle you too much above the hips. If you put your feet farther apart (at the edge of the plate) it wiggles you more than if you put your feet closer together. It's nice to be able to kind of pick your intensity and location of vibration.I like to do it for 5 minutes at a time (you can set a timer). It does increase my heart rate, which is good. I'm hoping this will be good, not only for all the things I already mentioned, but also scar tissue. I have a feeling it might have the potential of knocking out some scar tissue around the joints. I'm hoping it'll help my knees to be less achy. We shall see.So, who knows whether these benefits are really there (time will tell), but this mini plate is the perfect size to try it out, as it is perfect for home use. My husband is a big guy (6' 2" and 220 pounds) and it shakes him just fine. :)”
“This is loads better than the one purchased a few weeks back. In fact this one makes my current model look silly. The touch controls all work flawlessly along with the remote. My other unit from TRAKK as well has touch controls that have never worked. This came with resistance bands that attach to the base to help feel engaged with your upper body while working your legs. The preprogrammed workout sessions are very helpful to begin with. They alternate different movements and speeds to really throw you into this type of workout platform. I find this very useful for getting the blood flowing and loosing up before more workout routines.”
