“Unit worked great at first and seemed to be decent quality. However after only a few months of light use the unit no longed worked. Fully charged the unit, the lights come on and react to the button controls, but no vibration. I reached out to Medcursor, they had great customer service and stood behind their product and sent a replacement unit out right away.”
“I have been using this for a month now. I use the more expensive name brand at work too, so I have been comparing them. I like the Mercursor better. It had that middle mode option that automatically slows and speeds up, my clients really like that feature as well. As a massage therapist, it really helps to make quick work on some clients issues more manageable. Less manual work for me, and time and energy for clients, to get them on fast track to healing and pain management. Excellent machine, LUV the case and it has more attachments than HV brand. Shipping was slow. But received quickly after finally shipping 7 days after I ordered, it arrived a few days after. Not sure why the delayed ship time, never advised. Have referred to some clients because they were amazed at the results. They want to continue treatment at home on themselves. Would purchase again. Wish I had ordered it earlier. “From my research, Medcursor offers the lightest weight massage guns that I was able to find without spending over $120. This one is only 2.2lb vs the previous one that I returned that weighed over 4lbs. The lighter weight makes it much easier to use for a longer period of time by myself. I was also pleasantly surprised by the power given how small it is. My husband was a non-believer but he borrowed it yesterday and was very impressed. I suspect he will be "stealing" it from me more than not. Definitely worth the money. I was lucky to purchase this one with a $20 instant coupon at check out so it was an extremely good deal. The only difference between this one and the top of the line version is the heated head which I do not need. The user interface is also very easy to understand and use. A”
“I'm a Nurse on a med/surg unit. I have 6 pts and run around like crazy for 12.5 hours per shift. my shoes aren't bad, but after even one shift my feet, calves, and thighs are sore and hurt. I'm 27 and not wiping out, i can certainly handle the soreness, but I figured i'd try this (maybe it'll make it easier to run around and recover better). It definitely has, I use everyday after my shift and my legs are still sore after work but they really feel renewed again after i use this massage gun! “I purchased this thing with lower expectations, given that my roommate has an expensive one that cost 4x as much. Looking at these side by side, you can tell which is the cheaper one. However in function, that simply was not the case. This guy had plenty of power to work through all the hardest knots. I was expecting this to falter as I provided more pressure and leaned into it, but this thing did not hesitate one bit. Battery power is excellent. I have been using this thing daily for a week now and still have yet to charge it. He carrying case is nice, too. It has foam with cutouts so everything has a place to be stored. The attachments were nice but I found myself using the ball for most massages. Overall I could not ask for more from a massager like this.”
“UPDATED- I loved this and used it almost every other day. Then the massager started getting stuck. I used a bit of compressed air on it to see if it might help. It worked for exactly one use. You can see a lot of chipping and rubbing on the area. I tried a little lubricant but the motor can't move it anymore and it dies after trying to work the first time. I see the price is down by half, I paid $89.99 which is too much to have something that lasts about a year----------------------------------------------One day I woke up with unexplained right knee and ankle pain completely out of the blue. I iced and elevated, the ankle pain dissipated but the knee pain remained. My primary care doctor ordered xrays and I was soon referred to a specialist who said with physical therapy I would be as good as new. Almost a year of physical therapy and mild pain killers resulted in little to no change. The specialist wanted to start a round of injection therapy and suggested surgery if the injections didn't work but said we weren't there yet. Then Covid happened and I wasn't able to see the specialist or my physical therapist. I got this on a whim to tide me over and after only using it three times I feel amazing! Today is the first day that I haven't experienced knee pain in over a year!The first time I tried it, it hurt like a quick needle prick. I edged around where I felt the most pain until I could go at the spot directly. I've noticed that when I hit a spot that hurts I usually feel the pain pricked feeling there and somewhere else. Like when I worked my calf I could feel another similar feeling somewhere in my quad or if I worked a spot in my quad I would feel a brief pinch in my abdomen. I only used it for about 5 minutes the first time. My leg felt warm and tired like I just ran a marathon. The second time I used it I worked both of my legs from the quads down to my feet. I had the same feeling when I was done, warm, a little tingly and tired. I decided to do it last night before bed so the tired feeling wouldn't bother me. I worked my whole body using the included trigger point pamphlet and a went to sleep. There's a slight stretched feeling in my hamstrings but nothing else and most importantly, no pain!”
