Unit worked great at first and seemed to be decent quality. However after only a few months of light use the unit no longed worked. Fully charged the unit, the lights come on and react to the button controls, but no vibration. I reached out to Medcursor, they had great customer service and stood behind their product and sent a replacement unit out right away.

UPDATED- I loved this and used it almost every other day. Then the massager started getting stuck. I used a bit of compressed air on it to see if it might help. It worked for exactly one use. You can see a lot of chipping and rubbing on the area. I tried a little lubricant but the motor can't move it anymore and it dies after trying to work the first time. I see the price is down by half, I paid $89.99 which is too much to have something that lasts about a year----------------------------------------------One day I woke up with unexplained right knee and ankle pain completely out of the blue. I iced and elevated, the ankle pain dissipated but the knee pain remained. My primary care doctor ordered xrays and I was soon referred to a specialist who said with physical therapy I would be as good as new. Almost a year of physical therapy and mild pain killers resulted in little to no change. The specialist wanted to start a round of injection therapy and suggested surgery if the injections didn't work but said we weren't there yet. Then Covid happened and I wasn't able to see the specialist or my physical therapist. I got this on a whim to tide me over and after only using it three times I feel amazing! Today is the first day that I haven't experienced knee pain in over a year! The first time I tried it, it hurt like a quick needle prick. I edged around where I felt the most pain until I could go at the spot directly. I've noticed that when I hit a spot that hurts I usually feel the pain pricked feeling there and somewhere else. Like when I worked my calf I could feel another similar feeling somewhere in my quad or if I worked a spot in my quad I would feel a brief pinch in my abdomen. I only used it for about 5 minutes the first time. My leg felt warm and tired like I just ran a marathon. The second time I used it I worked both of my legs from the quads down to my feet. I had the same feeling when I was done, warm, a little tingly and tired. I decided to do it last night before bed so the tired feeling wouldn't bother me. I worked my whole body using the included trigger point pamphlet and a went to sleep. There's a slight stretched feeling in my hamstrings but nothing else and most importantly, no pain!

I ordered this in 2020, and the family and I loved it more than I thought. However, about 6 months in, the battery seemed to drain quickly and not home a charge. It continued to decompensate and now no longer works. I hoped to change out the batteries, but there is no way to change them, which is unfortunate. Again, it was a great massager, but it just did not last.

This percussion massager is better than others we have purchased. The massager seems to get deeper than others and the lights on the back don't blind you when using the massager in low light conditions.

I have owned this unit for 1-1/2 years. This unit is powerful and light. The battery lasts forever. Be careful when ordering this unit. The company makes a similar unit with a smaller battery. No doubt... this is one of the best items I have ever purchased. It will relieve your pain and could avoid cramps that make you jump in the night.

If your active get one period, It's solving all my lingering injuries over time. Just make sure you make time for your therapy/rehab sessions all my slow to heal areas have graduated to the next level of recovery after months of ice/heat and stretching.

In short, still going strong one year later. Highly recommend.I wasn't sure if percussive therapy was worth buying into; I had seen some incredibly expensive products on the market and was quite hesitant buying into what seemed like a another health fad.I finally bought this device to give "massage guns" a try after it was recommended to me by a friend who is a full time physical therapist. I have been using mine for almost a year now and I couldn't recommend a better option for anyone looking to combat musculoskeletal pain. Along with stretching, heat/ice, and hydration this has become an integral part of my daily recovery routine. Here are a couple things I've been thinking about which I hope can help future customers:-----Issue: After about three months of use, my favorite attachment (silicone ball) would come loose and kept falling out from the oscillating base.Solution: Extended use of the same attachment can warm the plastic shaft and the rubber ring that maintain suction to keep the attachment in place. Apart from changing out the attachment routinely, use of a heat stable lubricant can both prevent the shaft from warping and, as a bonus, make the device much quieter.------Issue: Use of the massage gun over certain injuries can worsen pain, delay recovery, and even cause bruising to appear expansive.Solution: As is mentioned in the text now included in the listing, I would not recommend using this, or any massage gun for that matter, over complex sprains, large contusions, bony prominences, or joint injuries. Thought there may be temporary pain relief, disruption of healing tissues may cause further injury and delay recovery.
