“I purchased this to use in a class B RV to keep the smokiness associated with the forest fires from becoming overwhelming. Because it was to be used in a space restricted area, I looked for a tiny unit. It is not loud, even on the highest speed, which is what I used most of the time; I was able to sleep without any difficulty. The light, which cannot be turned off, was not too bright. It would not be suitable for a large room, but worked fine in the confined space of a van. It has a small footprint. However, placing it in a cup holder likely would not work well. It is slightly larger in diameter than my cup holders, plus the 360* air intake goes all the way to the bottom of the unit, where the filter is housed. It would restrict the already limited air flow. I placed it in the center of the table, near the back of the rig when I was parked and ran it all night. The I think it helped. ☺︔

I have bigger systems in my house and they work great, I got this unit for my cubicle at work and there's still a lot of dust collecting on my desk, my nose feels stuffy so I'm not thrilled with my purchase. It's not loud which is nice, it looks nice but I wish the cord was longer.”
