“I bought these for my 6yo son with additional needs who is not yet toilet trained for school swimming lessons and a family holiday. I followed washing instructions with extra care. By the fifth time that he wore them, after only being exposed to swimming pool water, the swim shorts pattern had faded around the bottom area and the material was balling. The cord is also extremely long around the waist when wet (to the point that it was getting tangled at his ankles - and he is very tall for his age). This was very disappointing as there are already limited swimwear options in the market for a 6yo still in nappies.”

Thank you for your feedback on the Containment Swim Shorts, Allirra. Chlorine, especially when used in higher amounts as some swimming centres do, can be quite abrasive on fabrics, even when care instructions are carefully followed. We design our swim shorts to be durable and provide the best possible support, but, as with most swimwear, regular exposure to chlorinated water can sometimes affect the fabric's appearance over time. We also appreciate your comments regarding the length of the drawstring cord and will review this aspect of our design to ensure it’s as functional as possible. “My son has used it twice now that we got it, only 1 week and it doesn't hold very well. The toggles always come loose and it fills with water so the shorts bulge. Not very happy at all. Doesn't contain much just heaps of water which makes it hard for my son to swim.”
