“There are two aspects to anti-slip:
• One is the mat not slipping on the floor - which this mat achieves.
• The other is your feet not slipping on the surface of the mat - at which this mat fails.
The surface material use is low-friction, and our bare feet do not grip and hold when we step on it.
Actions where this is particularly noticeable are ones that include lateral movement. Like stepping out of the shower onto the mat. Or standing up from the toilet situated next to the sink.
In addition to the bathroom, my father was also having trouble getting out of bed during the night because his feet were slipping on the carpet. So we purchased a second mat to place beside his bed to give him grip when he rises. Unfortunately the mat is more slippery than the carpet.
I can't recommend this product but Conni's customer service and response to the issue was excellent. They went above and beyond to try and resolve our concerns.”
