Made from up to 10 recycled water bottlesReplace single use bread bagsPull through inner for easy cleaningFreezer safe100% recyclableThe Onya Bread Bag is a unique product in the market. It is made from the same recycled PET fabric as their reusable produce bags. The double layer of fabric makes it durable and easy to clean as you can easily pull through the inner liner for washing. The recycled PET fabric is food safe and freezer-proof so this makes the Onya Bread Bag the perfect bag to freeze bread in.The unique roll and clip closure serves more than one purpose. Roll the top of the bag over twice and then clip closed for a regular close. This also serves as a carry handle. If you're going to the shops and buying bread, you won't need a shopping bag, this one has that feature built right in. When you're down to only half a loaf, when you roll the top to close, roll it as many times as you need to so you get right down to the bread. The less air inside the bag, the fresher your bread will stay. Most fresh bread (with no preservatives) will last 2-3 days stored in your bag. After this period, it is best to freeze your bread (for up to 3 months). The double layer of fabric and air-tight roll closure will keep freezer burn to an absolute minimum. The Onya Bread Bag is packaged in post-consumer recycled cardboard and printed with water based ink. The entire product is recyclable at end of life. The packaging can be recycled or composted.

Measurements - 41cm long x 25.5cm wide wtih a 10cm gussetMaterials - BPA Free rPET nylon (food safe)Insulation - NoClosure - Sturdy "luggage style" metal clipHandle / Strap - The roll top closure turns in to a carry handle (pictured)Colour / Design - Charcoal (aqua interior)Made In - Designed in Australia. I was so excited to give this gift to my father as it ticked so many boxes - novel, sustainable, practical, and supportive of his obsession with homemade bread! So excited in fact that I didn't stop to 'test' it on myself ahead of giving it to him, instead simply buying two of the product, keeping one and trusting both of our households would be happy. That trust was well-founded and we continue to enjoy using the Onya Reusable Bread Bag over a year later!

Keeps bread in the freezer twice as long as plastic bags; can now enjoy the occasional slice of bread without it being stale! Love that there's a handle and it's fairly crumb-proof. Pretty easy to clean too. I have one in each colour! Helps identify which loaf is which.

We have made a conscious decision to stop buying bread wrapped in plastic and now purchase from our local bakery only. We didn't want to use the paper bags they offered so this is a great alternative - easy to clean, keeps the bread fresh and our local bakery staff are impressed with them as well!

I have several Onya bags which I use to freeze my homemade sourdough. They keep the bread fresh after thawing, though in our house a loaf only lasts a day generally! So now I bake 6 loaves and that's the week done. Great product, gives a better crust than cling wrap does, and is continually reusable

LOVE these bags. We have two and upon website relaunch will be using the voucher to stock up on another two. Also love the reaction you get down at the bakery - hopefully encouraging a few others to look at alternatives to plastic bags.

This is fantastic for our bread, hated using plastic and throwing it out each week.
