These are advertised as providing good water seal whilst still allowing you to hear and from my brief use of them so far they appear to do that very well. However, if you engage in wind sports where wind noise can be an issue, especially if wearing a helmet which might make that worse, then these do very little to reduce noise. That’s not a criticism of the product as that’s not it’s design remit, more of an FYI for anyone wanting a bit of noise reduction.

The earplugs come with a selection of pieces to adapt to size to suit your ear. I had no issue in assembling to fit. I have found they do a good job, as advertised, of keeping water out whilst still allowing reasonably good hearing. My only slight uncertainty is over the 'string'. It is quite small so I would imagine there is a reasonable chance of it snapping though this is presumably deliberate to minimise any snag or injury hazard. Consequently provision of a spare would be good. Alternatively, as I am using them for kayaking, a separate short string to attach to the ear straps of the helmet on each side would work well and could be included in the kit?

They seem pretty good, fairly comfortable but no more than the zoggs silicon ear plugs. The leash is very good to stop you losing one. I was expecting them to let in a bit more sound than they do though.

Good ear plugs, keep water out and let sound in. Slightly expensive for what they are

I’ve only used these 5 times so far, but are really good for kitesurfing. Keeps water out, stays in my ear. My only issue is that they cost a lot of money for what they are. But all in all, a really good product
