"Thrills and Chills…" - Newsday
They are back….again! And they're looking for Carol Ann in this riveting finale to the POLTERGEIST trilogy. Sent by her parents to live in a Chicago highrise with her aunt (Nancy Allen, Carrie) and uncle (Tom Skeritt, Alien), Carol Ann discovers she must now face demons more frightening than ever before. Led by the Reverend Kane (now played by Nathan Davis), the spirits have moved from invading homes to taking over an entire skyscraper. They are lurking behind every mirror… waiting. Fortunately, Tangina (Zelda Rubinstein) returns to battle these malevolent forces.

Even though it is a VERY unpopular opinion, Poltergeist III is actually my favorite of the trilogy, and Scream Factory has done this film justice! Sporting a new 2K transfer from the interpositive, this release has a brighter look than the MGM release and features much more natural skin tones. The bonus features are the real selling point of this release though. Multiple new sets of interviews and commentaries, but the best (or at least most interesting) feature is the original ending.

Hadn't seen this film since it came, but it holds up pretty well. It's fun if you're a fan of the series. Transfer is great as well as the extras. Thanks Scream Factory for another solid release.

Even though critics call this. A lackluster movie I still enjoy it and I'm sure anyone who loves the franchise will too .this is Carol Ann's final battle with the beast Kane as she is wisked away to Chicago to live with her aunt and uncle in a deluxe apartment in the sky(no pun intended)...but kane finds her and only her aunt and uncle and the psychic tangina Barrons can help her now !!!

Have not watched yet, so I can't speak to transfer or anything, but Shout/Scream Factory never disappoints. Artwork is great.
