Jean-Claude Van Damme stars as the future's most fearsome warrior in this adrenaline-charged sci-fi thriller.
Deteriorating from a deadly plague, 21st-Century America is descending into a barbaric nightmare. Only Pearl Prophet (Dayle Haddon), a beautiful half human/half cyborg, has the knowledge necessary to develop a vaccine. But during her quest to gather data and bring the cure to the world, Pearl is captured by cannibalistic Flesh Pirates who plot to keep the antidote for themselves and rule the world. Now, only saber-wielding hero Gibson Rickenbacker (Van Damme) can rescue her and save civilization.

“Received this yesterday and was looking forward to watching it today. However, the disc is not region free leaving me with a useless disc :(”

“First the video it is from a 2k scan and a nice picture for a movie from the late 80's was a huge fan of the movie back in the day . There is a uptick in clarity compared to the MGM version nice layer of grain( it's the best it has ever looked on any home video presentation)would give 3 1/2 on video if I had to give based upon a 5 star rating the MGM version I would give a 2.75 . The audio is where I have a gripe it's the same unfortunately bad dts- hd 2.0 track that the MGM version has in my opinion nothing sounded better or different was really hoping that we would get a 5.1 mix that Scream/Shout usually Grace's there releases with but not this time. That is one thing I do not understand is that if you are going to take the time to give us a 2-K scan and upgrade the video why not do the same for the audio very disappointing to not have a lossless 5.1 track for this disc.”
