“I used to have other jackets and would still get wet when the rain is heavy. this jacket keeps me dry. i also like the touch of the lens cloth as well as the removable hood. Im glad to have purchased this last minute when I was in the US.”
“The write up on this jacket is spot-on. This is my "go-to" rain jacket. It hardly ever sees the closet! It fits great, looks great, feels great. It keeps the rain out and the warmth in. I especially like the hood. It's large enough and has that flap over the head that keeps water from getting on my glasses. That inner membrane is super-soft and the color of the outside looks great with other Showers Pass gear I recently bought. Definitely a keeper!”
“Jacket seems great, but the zipper is backwards (pull attached to left side of zipper) for a mens' jacket. Not sure if this is normal for this brand, but definitely not getting another if it is.”
“Damn good jacket. My only gripe is the pocket zipper gets caught behind the flap when open. Definitely not a deal-breaker and easy to remedy by extending the zipper tab with a cord.”
“This took way to long to arrive. The carrier took it from Portland Oregon to Atlanta GA and then finally to Seattle WA. Once it got here, I found the Element jacket to be not much different from the non-cycling-specific Marmot rain shell I already have. And forget about wearing the hood over the helmet as described, it's so tight I can't turn my head. It's a shame this jacket proved to be disappointing, because at least Showers Pass makes gear in my size. Brands like Assos and Castelli don't have any concept of a "new to cycling" rider 6'5" 275# relaxed fit. I appreciate Showers Pass return policy, as I decided to wear the Marmot until I lose 50# to fit in a better jacket.”
“So far so good. Two full showers riding over passes. Did well. Stayed warm and dry. Some condensation, but from exertion. Will hold up as long as previous one.”
