“I purchased the net transit cc to replace an old transit that came apart at the seams. I’ve been wearing showers pass jackets since they were burley jackets. While a high quality product, I do not like the new design compared to the old transit. I've been using it for regular commuting in Seattle through November. Not everyone will find these issues and might prefer the new design, so try it on before buying. I ordered from the web site, assuming it was basically the same as the old jacket.
1. The arms are about 2 inches shorter than the old transit. I measured.
2. They don’t have pit zips, but two chest vents instead. Some people may prefer the tidy look. But they are covered by backpack straps and I think they work less well for road bike vs straight bars.”
