“I owned an Elite for 10 years and decided to replace it with the same jacket since I was so happy with the first. My new Elite fit well thru the body but sleeves hung all the way to my fingertips when not secured at the wrist. I was disappointed in the fit change & had to return the jacket.”
“excellent fit. the right amount of pockets. keeps me dry and has just enough ventilation. long enough rear and short enough front. nicely done. i've only worn it a few times in the rain but so far so good. I'm 6-1 and 200 pounds. the Large fits perfectly with enough room to add layers in winter but I don't feel like i'm "swimming in it" when only wearing 1 layer under it.”
“Great service in person, very knowledgeable. Jacket is extremely well made, I am looking forward to getting 10 years out of it like my last Showers Pass jacket. I use it for daily commuting throughout the rainy season, 25 mins each way, and it's wonderful. Keeps me dry and this version has a lot of great ventilation through the cuffs and pit zips. Love it!!”
“The jacket feels good quality, but smaller than expected.
I'm 5'10", 185lbs, on the muscular side. Size large, the wrists are overly tight and not adjustable. The neck is constructive to the point of feeling choked when riding.”
“Had to return the medium for a large- my other SP outerwear was cut larger so the medium was fine even with a heavy winter sweater under it for winter walks/snowshoeing. This one I could not zip up even just over a tee. The large is good- may have to go with a lighter sweater to make it work this winter but otherwise the material and assembly is great. And I really like the color way - last garment was in ‚Äúfirecracker‚and this cayenne is a nicer color. Love the seam taping and pockets.”
“Ordered from Canada and it arrived quickly and without duties. I'm just over 6' or 183-184cm, 202lbs or 92kg in athletic build, 42" chest and slightly longer arms in proportion to body, normal torso length. Sizing chart recommended XL based on weight but it was swimmingly large (see pic) with sleeves way past my wrists. Large fits me well; loose fit (not aerodynamic or race fit) and it is easy to layer over light puffy jacket. Hood fits on well. Haven't had chance to test in rain yet but I suspect it'll offer good coverage. Although not the lightest option, looks good for long days of bikepacking or touring in wet conditions when it's more important to stay dry and warm rather than go fast.”
