Men's Refuge Jacket Alpine Blue / Small Reviews

4.7 Rating 89 Reviews
I love the Refuge jacket. If fits well, is bright and reflective, has hand-warmer pockets, cell phone pocket and a small one in the back as well. Sheds the rain nicely. Has a hood if I need it. It's perfect for the Pacific Northwest climate and I wear it every time I bike in the fall and winter. I'm extremely pleased with the purchase.

This is my second Showers Pass Refuge jacket. Sadly, the vent zipper on my first one seized up after more than two years of use. I am 5 foot eight and about 150 pounds, and the medium fits me perfectly, allowing room to layer underneath. I got caught in a storm yesterday, and the jacket kept me bone dry. I love the vent feature (except for the malfunctioning zipper on my first jacket) and I use the jacket for everything from riding, to mountaineering, to just walking the dogs. I highly recommend it.

Much like the pants, the refuge jacket is almost bomb proof. It fits well, it has a removable hood, and breathes extremely well. The only flaw is when you wash it you have to be careful that the Velcro doesn't touch the inside fabric because if it does, it will remove the 1st layer of fabric

I used a refuge jacket last winter downhill skiing over 100 days. It performed perfectly. I also used it several times biking the last several months. It's a great jacket, rain or shine.

Great jacket. I use it for commuting year-round in the Pacific Northwest and it's the best combination of breathable/waterproof I've found to date. Highly recommend.
